Good day! How to enable HDMI IN in the Vu+Ultimo 4k receiver in this OpenPLi 9.1 image and OpenPLi Develop builds, there is no choice in the HDMI in hot keys? Thanks in advance.

I took pictures of the problem with picons and you can see the gaps in the Polish language compared to version 9.0 where the same options were already translated
as you can see version 9.1 handles picons very poorly
I kindly ask you to fix the problem in the next updates
I would also like to ask for the Polish language to be added, which was much better done in version 9.0
right from the start you can see the gaps in the Polish language when after placing a new image the wizard greets us, it already has the English language where I was normally greeted by Polish
I am sure that these problems are minor issues in the code that can be easily fixed

In two line modes the icons are always on right. Config option is used only for single line mode.
Also you have to set correct number of channels per page so two line modes to look good.
In 9.1 there is separate skin setting for items per page for two lines mode... But existing skins dont use it so if you not set items per page in config you will get that from your first photo...
Vu+DUO4KSE, DM920UHD, Vu+Uno4KSE, SF8008Mini, 2xPulse4K, Vu+Solo2, Dreambox DM500HD, Triax 78 (7E,9E,13E,19.2E,23.5E) & 2xTriax 78 (39E)

with identical settings and the number of channels per page, I get two different effects
I always used two lines and the next edition and everything always worked, but now it doesn't work and it seems to be fine
for me there is an error somewhere, I can see from the picons themselves that they are much larger with 10 or 15 channels per page
and even if you add more channels and they get smaller, the satellite icon still remains on the right side
which is not present in version 9.0 and I would like them to fix it if possible">I'm using the same skin as in version 9.0

As for item size... Well in 9.0 there was auto calculation for two line mode. In 9.1 there is separate skin setting that default skin or any other skin (except E2-DarkOS) doesn't support. Thats why you get that effect. But there is nothing to fix imho since all is by design.

There is no error. All is by design. The two line mode was redesigned in 9.1. And icons are always on right for two line modes since there are 5-6 possible icons to be displayed (record, type, resolution, catchup, backup, etc) if all are present they can never fit on the left. So left alignment was removed for two line mode.

Who cared that it had to be redesigned?
what specific purpose does redesigning this have?
you boast about corrections and new things, but for me it's worse
it seems that instead of moving forward, we are moving backward for unknown reasons
ehhhhhh.....

If that is the default skin, I think that should be fixed. We should not release stuff that doesn't support the stuff we made ourselfs?

config.usage.dns
What exactly is this supposed to do?

Yes it is not supported in default skin too... But many new things are not supported there as well. If i understood correct @littlesat said that default skin will not be really updated due to the plans to be changed...If that is the default skin, I think that should be fixed. We should not release stuff that doesn't support the stuff we made ourselfs?

Not happy with that, you don't want to know the plans I have... If everything has to wait for that...
For 9.x it is still the default skin, and something that worked 9.0 is broken in 9.1 due to Enigma changes, those changes should at least be reflected in the default skin.

I really like development and when I move something forward, but I like backward compatibility even more
If you have been using something for a very long time and you are very used to it, even such a small change can be irritating
Are you planning a new skin?
when do you plan to release it and what will happen if someone doesn't like it?
should it then sit on old skin where nothing will be supported anymore?
Why do you think Windows has gained such a huge advantage over Linux to this day?
because 98% of exe programs that ran on Win XP are still running on Win 10 and this is called backward compatibility, not that something new comes out and the rest goes to waste
someone once spent a lot of time on it and now it's thrown away

And once that happens the old default skin will be not maintained anymore ofcource.
Your comparition with windows is not correct the ui of windows 11 have nothing to do with windows xp. And there you cant use old skin...

Are you planning a new skin?
OpenPLi 10 will come with DimitarCC's DarkOS skin as default. It is already installable in 9.1.
Why do you think Windows has gained such a huge advantage over Linux to this day?
Not "this day", it has always been the case. Linux has a much bigger percentage "on the desktop" now than it has ever had.
The main reason Windows is still popular, is that it is been stuffed down peoples throats by corporations with CEO's making deals on the golf course, and Microsoft giving things free to schools, so by the time kids have to make a purchase decision, they are already brainwashed.
You don't want to know what old shit still runs absolutely fine on Linux, there is stuff in the image that hasn't been maintained in 15 years, as there is no need to, it does what it should and it does it well.
I'm using Linux since '97, and my house is completely MS-WIndows free since 2013. The only thing I had an issue with workwise was MS-VIsio, for which no (compatible) equivalent exists.
