It is installable from the feed. Not need telnet nor ipk.

P.S. Before to try it and get disappointed (since everyone have its own vision about this) you may check the screenshots... https://forums.openp...li-darkos-skin/

I have the latest OpenPli 9.1 installed on the Pulse 4K but when I install the WireGuard VPN Plugin I get this message :

"error, install wireguard-tools via telnet"

. What could be the problem?

There is a problem with KERNEL_VERSION detection in the build, and if that happens, no out-of-tree drivers will be built.

A new build is correctly running to fix this.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

but for some things windows is necessary

It only is if you believe it is.

In this house, and in my work, MS-Windows has not been necessary for over a decade.

Should build 9.1 be installed with a new one, or should 9.0 be updated to 9.1? Thank you

Personally, for me the PLi-FullNightHD skin is one of the best skins and it looks modern due to its transparency when changing channels.
it looks modern and the entire menu is nice and neat

and if possible I would like this skin to be developed further because it really lacks nothing

I tested the darkos skin for a while and personally it's not for me
the skin looks outdated, everything is black without any customization options
I like it when the picons are on the right and the rest on the left like in PLi-FullNightHD and in darkos it's the other way around
I don't like it when the user is forced to do something…

I like it when the user has a choice and uses what they want and not what someone gives them, that's why the compatibility and development of PLi-FullNightHD is so important

The success of a given distribution is based primarily on the fact that they listen to people and give them choices, rather than imposing someone else's vision and expecting that everyone must like it…

So now I'm waiting for the bugs in the PLi-FullNightHD skin that were brought by the update to 9.1 to be corrected.
1. problem with picons
2. problem with language translation, in 9.0 the same options were translated, so it would be nice to fix it
and by the way, after installing darkos, a green screen appeared at certain moments
Unfortunately, the receiver's reset did not help and the entire image had to be rebuilt

config.usage.dns

What exactly is this supposed to do?

a small change to some files would be enough to insert dns to be selected in the wizard or when configuring the network

So as i said everyone have his own preferences. As well as the thinking what is modern and what not is also subjective.

No one forces you to use new skin. You will always be possible to install PLi-FullNightHD skin even if another becomes default.

But if another skin becomes default i doubt PLi-FullNightHD will be continued to be maintained. Its a 15 years old skin with minimal updates over the years.

So i suggest to look in some mods of it  since they are more likely to be updated in future.

As for the current problems....

1. Here can be fixed only the text sizes but not the actual picon size

2. That have to be fixed by native speaker...

As for crashes with darkos will be nice if you provide the log. I dont experience any crash...Maybe its specific plugin issue.

@WanWizard uses the skin daily and he didnt report any crashes too.

P.S. PLi-FullNightHD also don't offer any customization options without third party plugins ;)

but I like it the way it is and I wouldn't change anything

I only use 3 plugins

s4a updater
chocholusek
infobarweather

I don't need anything else to be happy because the look of this short is 100% my preference

and if darkos is your project, congratulations, but make it possible to customize the skin, if you can mess around and change the appearance, maybe it will suit my taste :)">You're right

It is my project...But there is no plans for customization options...

If you like PLi-FullNightHD keep using it...But i doubt it will be updated in the future. As i said its 15 years old skin....

What plugins you have are not useful...What i need is the crash log....

Maybe the infobarweather is the issue since that is not supported by the skin i dont know and cant say without a log.

I should forcefully turn it off?
Edit: FTP is actually accessible, where are upgrade logs located?

then you may need to start the enigma via console and provide the output

in console (telnet, SSH) just execute

init 4

ENIGMA_DEBUG_LVL=4 enigma2

and then copy the output and put it in the file and attach it here.

Be sure to get the whole log since it can be long one...
