Translation: I think the DMM-lay-out is even better, as "our" bars are sometimes overlapped by a long event description.

completely disagree, placing progress bar right side (PLi) is much more logical (in my opinion) than insert it between channel number and chanel name....

I agree with you about that being more ergonomical. But the overlap......

besides with dmm layout you'll have long event descriptions cut-off I suppose..

Not sure about that. It will also depend on how much space the skin has for the description (different value for each skin).

then it applies to pli-style progress bar too (it is always "sticked" to right border of channel selection screen (?) and the size of bar is the same)
if there is enough space in skin between channel name and (pli)progress bar, overlap should not occur...

That's what I said, didn't I......? That's the reason the left side might be better.

No: descriptions can sometimes be very large: there will never be enough space for them. Luckaly most aren't that long.

yep, and if they're really looong they will not fit in screen with dmm layout for sure too ... ;)
the net space for description is exactly the same with both layouts,
//but in my opinion, PLI's layout is more ergonomic and prettier (or maybe I just got used to it...?;))
