Hello guys

I would like to know if there is a way to have two networks on my dreambox Ethernet and wireless?

wondering if i can manage which fuction of dream box goes local (like ftp using a wire to be as fast as possible) and cccam through out my wireless for sharing to other rooms.

yes, but only if you give the two adapters two different ip's in different subnets.

What's the benefit of it?

ones you are connected by wire you have acces to the lan/wan network as the wireless is also connected to this network!?

with the enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-wirelesslan plugin, possibly in combination with the networkwizard plugin.

Wireless stuff (such as enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-wirelesslan madwifi-ng-modules madwifi-ng-tools) might not be available in the 800 feed, in that case, install them from the 8000 feed.

to be honest there is no true beneffit exept the educational perpose but since i got two local networks just for fun i would like to try.

thats all hope you help me.
