Hi
Flash with the latest Pli Jade 3 using Dreamup while flashing the flash paused for a long time and never resumed. I disconnected the box from Dreamup and now the box would not speak to Dreamup anymore is there a way to restore back the box or do I have to jtag if this box can be jtagged. Need help in fixing it thanks.

There is no need to use DreamUp. Just open the web browser to the Dreambox and you can flash. It should work now too.

How do I do that? How can you open a web browser when the box is not communicating with Dreamup. In Dreamup it says DM600PVR but nothing else it doesn't say box is speaking nothing like that.

DreamUP uses FTP, telnet etc and that may not work. The web interface "should" always work. I assume your modem/router has given an IP address to the Dreambox (using DHCP).

Yea or else dreamup wouldn't work with network cable connected and null modem connected. What else to do from there to get web access?I also never flashed web interface so you would have to explain that to me.

Flash it via COM or via WEB.
Via WEB: unplug the DM-->push PWR button--->plug the DM--->wait till the leds flash-->open your browser with DM IP and Flash

I tried that but the lights on the front of the box both light up red and green and nothing happens.

If the leds do not flash then you must use dream up via COM... don't angst... the flash time is about 30min!

Did you get the web interface? It's unclear to me.
In case you have the web interface, there's a link "flash new image" at the bottom. You can flash your .nfi file there.

what other message did dreamUP give you when you say it just stopped? Was there a "report this to DMM" message at all?

Yes I got the web interface to work it flash the box and said 100% after disconnecting and connecting it to television the screen does show anything. Reconnected to Dreamup it shows the box name at the bottom and know response. Try reflashing again with web interface it went back to 100% again and now the box is still not working just getting two red and green leds and know response.

When I plug in the box I just get the red and green lights are on permantly and no response is my box bricked?

if it is a DM600 clone, you most likely have a hardware problem from the security sim, simply take it back to your dealer and get them to replace it.
