I just flashed the latest PLi image to my DM600, and then I tried copy one of the skin that I liked from DM500 to /etc/enigma/skins and so forth into pictures too.
changed the skin, restart BOOM... my dreambox, nothing comes up,
first there was loading, then thanks, then it blinks for 4-5 times and black screen, nothing can be done more. Its keeps blinking after 2-3 mins.
Any help Please!!

BTW: Its surprise me very much as then I tried to go into flash web interface (to re-flash), I cannot go anymore. WHY is that happened?
Did I do something wrong, Press Pwr(HOLD), plug the power , HOLD power for 10secs approximate, come to the internet explorer, http://myip didn't work.

PS: I can still use DCC to connect via FTP and telnet w/o any problem.

And there is the problem as the DM600 is an OE box and the DM500 is a CDK box, so the images and skins are not the same. If you can not reflash via the web interface then try to use DreamUP to do it. Reflash with Jade and then use the remote control to download the new skin you want for the DM600.

If you really get stuck there bring the box over here and I will have a look at for you.

Or as your ftp is working put the attached config file in /usr/share/enigma/default/

Or edit /usr/share/enigma/default/congif and change the skin line to this s:/ezap/ui/skin=/usr/share/tuxbox/enigma/skins/darkpli_8.esml

and it should reboot again OK

You could try version 1.3.0.2 It was specially made for the DM 600 as I recall right.
I added it here.

The serial connection is not right. That's for sure. What the real problem is, I don't know now.

If you flash a DM600 image, all your settings are set to default. Is that what you mean?

Tray the attached Dreamenum, and stop the Box in Bootloader "pressing power button while plug power in for 3 seconds". The box will stop booting and the red and green led are lightened all time.
After that you can see the box in dreamup and you can flash it using ethernet.
