How do I zap to the channel thats recording?
How do I stop a recording without deleting it?

I set a timer to record and i can see the show at the top of the list in Recorded files and can also see the channel but i dont know what satellite its on; I have a motorised dish.
Worse still is the recording is a dud because i get a "service not found" error when i go to play it. Now when after deleting it the box still says its recording and i cant change channel because i have no free tuner.
The box is a Vu+Duo.

Make any sense?

oh and one more thing, why cant i search this forum, dont see the search bar anywhere.

You delete an active recording by deleting the timer entry (bit clumsy, I admit). If you just delete the recording (the file) itself, further recording files, but as the timer is still active, you can't zap. I don't know why you get that error, I've never seen it before.

oh and one more thing, why cant i search this forum, dont see the search bar anywhere.

What's a search bar? A place where you search for a drink? You can search the forums using the menu option on the left. Yes, the one called 'Search'...

I actually figured out the timer thingy 2 minutes after i posted and the search bar was so obvious. Feel a bit of a div.

Still would like to be able to zap to the recording channel though.
