Yes they where/are
I know it is a common problem on other forums and I tried to init and format the HDD
in computer
Ater one more init I did restart the vu but it did not work
Then suddenly it start to work
I do not how but it works now
For others maybe you who know how to do should give an explanation
"how to"

I put into VuDuo hard drive 1.5 TB, Had no problem with initialization. What I did:
1. format in PC - format as EXT3, WinXP's software: Partition Magic 8.0, connection via docking station WELLAND ME-601J (other SATA to USB converters should work as well)
2. installed into my PC driver to read EXT3 from WinXP: Ext2IFS_1_11a.exe (GOOGLE - where this open source soft is - not very difficult.
3. moved 300MB files from my old Dreambox 7000's hard drive to the new box
To tell you the truth - don't remember if I had to do something else (between step 2nd and 3rd) to initiate HDD - but after 3rd step - I disconnected from PC's docking station and connected internally to VuDuo. VuDuo saw this HDD without any problem and it works till today (almost month).
Only with 4 files I moved into new disc - I have problem to access it - maybe such format operation - create some gap into files structure? Have no idea if I can correct it - I'm not linux specialist. Those files I renamed into 'bad cluster n' - doesn't use them and all files I record are perfect readable - as I wrote no problem at all.
