I've just tested the new norwegian source in the rytec.sources.xml and found some errors:

These observation are based on the result after a automatic import 0545 today. I havent been able to do a manual import tonight (= events imported)

I have corrected this. However the results will only show up at the earliest sunday morning.
And the corrections in the channels file could take a bit longer as our webmaster is not available.

Yes this is swedish (äö/ÄÖ isn't letters used in norwegian)

Tried to modify the source file as suggested
I replaced the xmltv Norway with this one :

The original rytec.sources.xml isn't working either for norway. Selecting Nordic let's me download.

Both the old Nordic and the new norway use the same xmltv file.

if you now can import data with the Nordic source this denotes that the xmltv file is OK.

The error must be with the channels file. But where? We have to find out - but this is not easy.

could you post the epgimport log (from a norway import) pls.

I have uploaded the norway channels file unzipped to the epgalfasite.

pls. change in rytec.sources.xml in the norway entry

As I pointed out before I have no access to the Nordic channels - so I cannot test this with the actual channels. I tried to import it with some others phoney links. On that occasion the file imported and epg was presented on the box - but for totally wrong channels.

EPG import from the new source worked this time.

The file is not complete. It looks like it's limited to 8k. Is there a way to save the hole logfile?

Keep in mind that this is not the new source, it was only as test.
There was a problem with the channelfile location for norway but that has been solved yesterday so please put it back to the previous source.
Otherwise we will get a lot of mistakes.

Is there a way to save the hole logfile?

The nordic xmltv file contains all the epg (so far as available) from norway, sweden and denmark.

In swedish, Norwegian and danish packages there are a lot of channels which are used in these three countries, and the epg for the same channels is provided in the three languages.

The unknown channels are from the channels which have epg in the three languages. Of course if you import the norwegian epg - you do not want to import swedish epg for the same channels. These references are then labelled as unknown.

PS: The three Nordic packages contain the same number of channels. But in each package the preference is given to the language in question. When the preferred language is not available then the epg is given in the language which is available, in some cases this is english.
So there is no need to import another Nordic package besides the language package you prefer.

eloaded the original source fil and did a import. Worked well.
Same missing channels as before.

The unknown channels of your log mean that for these channels epg is provided in the xmltv file but is not linked to any channel on the box.

I am under the impression that you are convinced that the epg is not present in the xmltv file.

Secondly: The website you provided gives indeed somewhat more information. But it is complicated to read, althoug not impossible I think. I wll recently give it a go. But not today anymore.

No. I've searched true the xmltv file and i'm aware of that the EPG info is in the file. The problem is that it's not shown on the screen /images/smiley/sad.gif

For the NRK3 Channel the EPG is present for : NRK Super / NRK3 1:0:1:0DB6:001C:0056:00300000:0:0:0
but not for NRK Super / NRK3 1:0:1:DB6:23:46:E080000:0:0:0. These two are the same channel but delivered by different providers on different transponders.

At last I will give you credit for the impressing work you are doing and excellent support.

HistoryHD in canal nordic package has wrong EPG, can somebody check... EPG was correct before but now its wrong.
