Well, I spent hours on this tuners setup and I still cannot record a program and watch an other one.

I live in a flat with a collective satellite installation similar to that : http://blog.aki.ch/?page_id=1363

except we have 2 dishes : 1 for Astra and one for Hotbird. Only one cable is coming to my flat and I plug it to LNB1 in (Tuner B is looped to A).

I have tested several disecq 1.0 and disecq 1.1 combinations, but when I record a program, I am stuck with this program and cannot change to an other channel....

I receive messages : "tuner busy".

Signal is always OK : 85 % most of time,
all my channels are on the same French Bouquet : Canal +,
I have an other receiver : Clarktech 6600 and I can record 2 channels and watch a third one, but with Duo, I cannot record one and watch an other one (that would be enough for me to do that...),

May-be you have an idea...
thank you for your help,

regards,

when your A and B are looped through

you al only watch and record the channels from the same transponder
the channels on the same transponder as you are tuned to are 'white'
other channels are 'grey' and you can not select them

how did you set it up?

hotbird = A
astra = B

?

This is my setup :

Config : Simple
Mode : Disecq A/B
Port A : Astra 1H / Astr
Port B : Hotbird 6
Use Voltage and 22Khz : Yes
Send Disecq to Change Sat : No

Tuner B : BCM735 DVB-S2 NIM (internal)
looped by Tuner A

If I record a channel, and want to watch an other channel : the recorded channel's image is freezed, but the name of the new channel is displayed with it's signal :85 %.
my list of channels from my Bouquet provider (Canal+) is white (they are not greyed).

I hope it is clear for you....

If I do that, I have a "Signal error" message

and signal = 0%.

That is not correct: you can see many transponders, as long as they are in the same " quadrant" (same frequency band and same polarisation). This is a common misunderstanding.

I agree with that, with my Clark-tech I can record simultaneously 2 channels from my French Bouquet provider Canal+ which groups several different transponders, and watch a third one.

Problem solved.

My Powercam PCMCIA card was the reason.
It can decrypt one one channel at a time.
I changed it for the CCAM plugin and I can records different channels and watch an other.....
