When I try to fastforward above x8 speed the picture on the screen seems to fastforward but the timeline and time information does not. When I click play I am returned to around the place where I started to fastforward and not to where the pictures shown on screen indicate I am located. Is this something at my end or a general thing?

It is regular SD recording.

Are those drives included in OpenPLi-unstable-vuduo-20100821_usb? Is so I still have this problem after installing this.

I believe that this is a bug with latest drivers. The same thing happens to me also. It has only just started to happen with the latest drivers. Not sure if the VU team are aware. If I get time I will test the VU original image to see if the same thing happens. Also happens on rewind also

I used the search option and searched for 'fastforward'. This thread was the only result that came up. I'm aware this thread is > 2 years old....


I have an identical issue with my VU+ Solo2 with OpenPLI 3.0 (installed a few days ago) and playing recordings/movies/mkv's/....
FF will result in the movie/recording/...   going fastforward, but as soon I press the PLAY button again, the movie/recording starts playing from a timepoint before I hit the playbutton (like 5 to 20 seconds in advance).
Any ideas? Or does this mean that this issue is driver related?

try to use Step Skip

it works much easier

 

rewind 1-4-7

forward 3-6-9

 

these times can be set in the menu
