Open the XMLTV importer
Press Info or EPG on a VU+
Now you can clear the log
close the log
perform a new import
Press Info or EPG on a VU+
Now you can save the log

The log will be stored in /tmp/

Dear All,
as the log is not that big, I will just copy it here. For what it is worth, that is on PLI 2.0 12.01.2011 build. I can't see TVPolonia,iTVN or Polsat 2 listed in the log.

Thanks.

[EPGImport] imported 626 events

You do have some imported channels. This generally means that the channelsfile and the XMLTV file is read properly.

However we had some problems with the Finnish channels that the service references where different on your box than in our file.

the result of the investigation on this problem resulted in the following:

After short investigate, here are results

e060000:0:0:0:
e070000:0:0:0:
e080000:0:0:0:

all these 3 kind of ID suffix can be found Canal Digital/Telenor 1W

e07000 if doing service scan using VU Duo+
e06000 if using DM8000
e08000 if using DM7000 or using many channelist for Motor dish

Maybe you have the same problem. To find out if this is the problem, could find me the service reference for TVP1 and TVP2 pls.

The easiest way the find the service codes is this:

The australian references for the polish channels are OK. You should have epg.

You have imports.
Since you are using an image which needs an restart of enigma after the import (no Oudeis patch) make sure that enigma is reloaded after an import.

Hi Vlad,
thanks for this. Is the reference for Polsat for Polsat or Polsat 2 ?
We are after Polsat 2 as you probably know :)

This is in the reference file:

1:0:1:1ff:5:1:5f0b0e7:0:0:0:

Thus polsat 2

I'm sorry, my mistake. Of course it is Polsat2. But EPG on my Vu+ duo still doesn't work.
I don't know where to look for solution. Can be latest image problem?
Anybody have EPG working on Optus D2 polish channels?
Vlad.

This are the both the references in our channels file.
You should hae epg.

And you have import:

but you are using an image which requires a restart of enigma after the import.
If you do an import and enigma does not restart automatically, pls. do a manual restart of enigma.

Further:

If you are using Gemini, pls. read the instructions on www.rytec.be about installing on gemini.
But you may want to try Crossepg on Gemini. Crossepg also read our files.

And why not give OpenPli a try.

Hi Willy,
no one have those 3 channels working in Australia anymore. It stopped working for everyone few days ago. This is on Optus D2 (152.00) Satelite. I think something went wrong at Rytec. Nothing was changed on my friend Vu+Duo and on my new Vu+Duo the EPG does not display anything even that it imports those 600+ channels.
Cheers

@doglover
how can you explain that: import of other sorces - for exemple swedish xmltv works fine.
it is not a problem with my image, box or plugin - it works !
and import of polish epg worked fine till 13.01.2011.

I have manually uploaded a working file for this poland source. You can import it now.

Still have to find out wat went wrong. My PC generated daily a new file, but on the server an old file remained with data up to January 13. Why it was not updated automatically is the problem.
