Error has something to do with the download site.
Temp solution.

rename rytec.sources.xml in /etc/epgimport to rytec.source.xml.bak
and copy the attached file to etc/epgimport

Ahh, ok then will test tommorow.

I'm searching for another iTVN sources but with not much luck. While doing this I've found another site for TVP Polonia and that seems to be more descriptive than the one we are using now. What is better it gives the series numbers in description. If you think it's a good idea to change, have a look on this site:

http://www.teleman.p...tion.html?id=10

And the same for Polsat2 :

http://www.teleman.p...tion.html?id=11

Other question, in EPGImporter there is a number of day setting, is there any limit for that? I know that we are limited to amount of days availiable on the www sites, but some of them have like 9-10 days availiable and I get 5 I think. Not that it is bad... :)

Thank you,
Michal

PS, if you need translation for those pages, let me know :)

Willy,
I had a closer look at above site and I think the link I posted is dynamically changed every day. So the better choice will be static link:

http://programtv.int...ly/wszystkie,10

This will bring you to all channels listing. In the 6th row from the top, third entry from the right the dynamic link ITVN is listed. This link is changing every day by inserting the actual date. In the end, it will take you to the iTVN program entries starting with present day and hour. If you need help with translation please let me know.

Thanks,
Michal

Hi Willy,
ok, I will test tommorow. Yes, Polsat2 site has some descriptions not the best to name it nicely.. well I'm happy with what I got. Can't wait to check on iTVN now :)

Just for your information, I did scan today well after 2pm local time (past 7am Euro time) and I got 0 entries. I then replaced the file with the one you posted and got well over 600 entries. I don't know if this is important but I've noticed that the oryginal file I replaced has some stupid date like ...1970.

Thanks,
Michal

Normal XMLTV site should be back online.

Replace Polsat2 also with the info from another website.

Hi Willy,
I asked my friend to try to import. He tried 10 min ago (about 14.00 your time) and we got 0 entries. Next, we replaced the xml file with the one posted by you and we got 616 entries. New new iTVN site is working now :) but I'm afraid the sources file on the server does not.

Regarsds,
Michal

The normal website for download is back on line.
However, it could be possible that you need to restart enigma.
Reason; the channelsfile is only downloaded once a day, or after an enigma restart. If you had already a failed download today, the importer thinks he has already downloaded the channels file - but in reality he has not.

Thanks for the explanation, I suppose that was the case then. Maybe the "Reload Channelsfile" button or option in the plugin would be usefull then?

Thanks again,
Michal

Dear Willy,
I had the time to have a closer look at the iTVN data in EPG. As it is impressive with the long descriptions, it totaly lacks of the most important info which is episode/season numbers. The site I proposed earlier ( http://programtv.int...ly/wszystkie,10 ) looks to be more suitable for PVR functionality of satelite receiver by offering above info. As the same episode is repeated few times during the week it is very convinient to have the episode numbers shown to not to record the same episode twice or miss the next one.

If it is possible to have this site succesfully scanned, I would propose to gather the data from there.

You did a great job so far and it is fully appreciated here.

Thank you,
Michal

I did have a look at this website. The thing that worries me is this: itvn,17034021,10?

Is this number a constant number? Since I already had a website with detailed descriptions I did not investigate this further. And as I am rather occupied this week, and the website I am using at the moment is working, it will be some time before i can have a serious stab at this website (website is new to me)

it totaly lacks of the most important info which is episode/season numbers

As I record series on a PVR as well, I realize the importance of this piece of info. (and since you seem to be a shift worker - recording is important to you). However when I miss the episode/season number I tend to record everything from a series which fall in a certain timeframe (this can be programmed with Autotimer) and have the risk of recording sometimes an episode twice. (As you can see I have a 1.5 TB HDD)

Hi Willy,
http://programtv.int...ly/wszystkie,10

is permanent. That takes you to the channels choice where you can choose the iTVN. Now, that link is changing by change in the date/time at the end of the link. This will bring you to current day programm. So the link for today looks like this:

http://programtv.int...TimeT=4&cn=&p=1

and for yesturday:

http://programtv.int...2011-01-24&cn=0

That looks like it stays there permanently, I can check it for the next few days and then we can be sure. You are bussy now, there is no rush so give me few days and I will collect the info. We can start from there then. If this site turns to be ok, there is lot's of programs for Polish people that you can use for other users :)

Thanks,
Michal

some explanation to this site:

Dzisiaj - Today
Poniedzialek - Monday
Wtorek - Tuesday (which is today or "Dzisiaj")
Sroda - Wednesday
Czwartek - Thursday
Piatek - Friday

Click on iTVN:
http://programtv.int...TimeT=4&cn=&p=1

Let's see what is changing at consecutive days:

Poniedzialek (Monday)
http://programtv.int...2011-01-24&cn=0
Dzisiaj (today, Tuesday):
http://programtv.int...2011-01-25&cn=0
Jutro (tommorow, Wednesday):
http://programtv.int...2011-01-26&cn=0
Czwartek (Thursday)
http://programtv.int...2011-01-27&cn=0
Piatek (Friday)
http://programtv.int...2011-01-28&cn=0
Sobota (Saturday)
http://programtv.int...2011-01-29&cn=0
Niedziela (Sunday)
http://programtv.int...2011-01-30&cn=0

Hi Willy,

for the next two days we got the same pattern:

http://programtv.int...2011-01-31&cn=0

http://programtv.int...2011-02-01&cn=0

I think the part you were worrying about is not changing.

BTW: it seems to be a problem with loading data, EPGLoader not connecting to server?

Thanks,
Michal

As per o entries last time, my mistake, I still had the xml file you postsed few days ago for temporary download. Changet it to oryginal file and it imported ok

Thanks,
Michal

Oh, that's great Willy. I will test it tommorow then.

I will write to TVP Polonia and Polsat2 about their schedules. I understand that both channels data we take from their site?
The info they include is really bad. Long descriptions but almost no seazon/episode numbers included. And worst, mostly the same description for different episode in the series. They will probably ignore this but... you never know.

I did actually contacted the iTVN (some time ago) if they can do a separate pages for xmltv purpose and I got respond that my suggestion will be considered... and that will be probably it I suppose.
Anyway, thank you very much for your cooperation on the requests from us!

Regards,
Michal
