Frage an die Experten -

Ich möchte auf meiner neuen ET9000 mit OpenPLi 2.0 beta im Flash ein Plugin installieren. Das Plugin habe ich als *.ipk vorliegen.

Das Plugin habe ich versucht per Telnet zu installieren.

In Telnet mache ich folgende Eingabe -

ipkg install /tmp/backupsuite_1.1.mispel.ipk

Hier bekomm ich dann die Fehlermeldung "-sh IPKG not found"

Ich habe auch schon im Verzeichnis "/bin" nachgeschaut und kann dort auch
kein "IPKG" finden.

Kann mir hier jemand bei meinem Problem weiterhelfen ?

Habe schnell mal geschaut, scheint aber nicht die Lösung zu sein.

Habe aber folgendes im Wiki gefunden -


Note:
OpenPLi image version 1.x uses ipkg package manager,
OpenPli image version 2.x uses opkg package manager.
So if you're a OpenPli-2.0 user,
then type opkg instead of ipkg in the package manager related command examples below.


Dies scheint mir die Lösung zu sein.
Werde dieses nachher einmal ausprobieren.

Sorry, again in English

use these commands in a telnet session or via DCC-E2

ln -s opkg-cl /usr/bin/ipkg-cl
ln -s opkg /usr/bin/ipkg

Now you can use ipkgagain

(btw: you can answer in German if you would, the reading is no problem, just the writing/images/smiley/sad.gif )

Das nächste Problem ist nun, das ich eine Fehlermeldung bei der Installation
bekomme. Es wird nach ein "nand-package" bzw. nach "nandwrite" verlangt. /images/smiley/sad.gif


Im Moment komme ich nicht so recht weiter. Ich hoffe das mir hier noch
weitergeholfen werden kann.

Du hast wohl das falsche backupsuite erwischt.

Diese angehängte version hat auch nandwrite drin und hat Pedro auch bereit gestellt auf das officiële clarke tech forum.
Dan wirt es wohl klappen.

I have no idea what the problem could be, nandwrite is included in the package.

You could try to install the package by placing it on an USB-stick and inserting this stick in the ET9000. After a few seconds you will be asked if you want to install extensions (or something like that).
Choose OK and after that the green button for Install.

Maybe you can check after install if there are the following files in the folder usr/bin, there should be the files
build-usb-image.sh
buildimage
mkfs.jffs2
nanddump
nandwrite


And there should be in the folder usr\lib\enigma2\python\Plugins\HDD-Full-Backup\ these files
__init__.py
backup.sh
maintainer.info
plugin.png
plugin.py


And finally in the folder usr\lib\enigma2\python\Plugins\USB-Full-Backup\
__init__.py
backup.sh
maintainer.info
plugin.png
plugin.py

When you look at the first post, i believe Papillon took an other backup-suite, without the nandwrite.

Indeed, but I'm curious where it came from. And I'm wondering if it works like it should be, I'm not in the opportunity to test the plugin as I don't have an ET9000.

Which Plugin did you choose, did you start it from the menu?
Did you install the IPK or did you copy the files from the ET website on your box.
What are the file attributes of the files 755 or ....

The Problem was the Attributes - "755"
I have forget to change.


Now i have my first Backup from my ET9000.

Which backup did you choose USB or HDD (or even both) could you please check if both options work?

werde ich machen. Backup auf HDD habe ich gemacht, hat prima geklappt.

Auf USB habe ich noch nie gemacht. Muss ich da eine leeren USB-Stick nehmen ?
Muß dieser speziell formatiert oder eingerichtet sein ?

No just an ordinary USB-stick. It doesn't have to be empty. It just makes a folder with the name et9000 and thats the place where the files will be copied
No special formatting, just the standard FAT32

It work´s the samest on the USB-Stick, it´s perfect.


It´s so wonderful.


My next work is now, to test, write back the backup.
I will do this tomorrow.

Then I report of the Backup work´s.

Hallo,


Das Rückschreiben eines Backup´s von HDD und von USB-Stick klappt
super. Bei angesteckten USB-Stick erkennt die Box ET9000 automatisch
ob ein Backup auf dem Stick vorhanden ist und fragt nach ob dieses Backup
wieder hergestellt werden soll.


So, das war´s.
Nach großer Schlacht mit ein paar Problemen und erfolgreicher Hilfe hier
aus dem Forum läuft nun alles bestens.

Vielen Dank nochmals an die Helfer für ihre unermütliche und geduldige Arbeit.

Great that it works.
When you install the IPK-package you don't have to tinker about with the attributes, so using the enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-et9000-backupsuite_1.1_mipsel.ipk should work without the need to set attributes.
