I already posted this add on in the Dutch section but maybe also the English speaking visitors are interested.

Here is a little add on for the webinterface used for the VU+
This plugin/add on replaces the remote control picture with the picture of the VU+ remote control. The plugin saves the files from the original webinterface and replaces these files with the new ones.

When the plugin is uninstalled all the original files will be restored.

After installation it is necessary to clear the webbrowsers cache, it may be also necessary to refresh the webpage with Ctrl-F5.

This plugin is intended for OpenPLi Beta 2.0. I don't know if it will work for OpenPLi 1.0 stable or OpenPLi Beta 1.0.

After today's update the webinterface add on no longer works.
The solution is:
first remove the existing add on via Menu->Plugins->Red button -> Extensions -> webinterface-vuplus-addon then
install it via Menu->Plugins->Green button->Extensions -> webinterface-vuplus-addon

It should work again maybe you'll have to clear the browserscache and reload the page.

Thanks Pedro it works fine :)

I was just wondering since most of us have a white remote if it should not be white?

Just copy the rc.png to /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/Webinterface/web-data/img/

Clear the webbrowsercache and refresh the page if necessary

O.K. I couldn't resist, 2 versions of the add on, you probably already guessed, one with the white remote control and one with the black remote control.
Just for fun, the one in the feed doesn't have to be replaced as I'm concerned.

If you want to install one of these plugins, just be sure you first remove the old 1.1 version of the add on via Menu->Plugins->Red button-> Extensions->webinterface-vuplus-addon (1.1)

Through ignorance on my part about the handling of pluginnames and version numbering it wasn't possible to install the black version of the vuplus-webinterface-addon from the 3rd-party feed, automatically the white version was installed because the white version was seen as a newer version because the W is after the B in the alphabet.

I fixed this and now the color is, as it should (I think), part of the name and not the version numbering.

To install one of these versions it is important to remove any previously installed version, so the old original files are restored and the new version of the plugin can neatly secure the files for the next time when the plugin is removed again.

Sorry for the inconvenience

This version works great!

I would recommed one small change to the following file:
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/WebInterface/web-data/tpl/default/index.html

Change line 10 from:
<title>Dreambox WebControl</title>

To something like this:
<title>VuPlus WebControl</title>
--Or--
<title>VuDuo WebControl</title>

Here are the suggested minor adjustments, I also made the change in WebTV.

As usual, install the add on, clear your browsercache and eventually use ctrl-F5 to reload the page. Also use ctrl-F5 in the screen Web TV if the screen doesn't load correct.

Have fun.

After today's update the webinterface add on no longer works.
Again the solution is:
first remove the existing add on via Menu->Plugins->Red button -> Extensions -> webinterface-vuplus-addon-black-remote (or white-remote) then
install it via Menu->Plugins->Green button->Extensions -> webinterface-vuplus-addon-black-remote (or white-remote)

It should work again maybe you'll have to clear the browserscache and reload the page.

Your welcome, maybe with the next EC or WC soccer you get on one good morning an orange remote/images/smiley/grin.gif
or maybe you prefer a steel one?
(sorry, just kidding)

Some minor adjustments, starting this version when you install the add on also the webinterface bouqueteditor will be automatically installed, of course with the VU+ headers.

To be sure, first remove any old version and after that it is safe to install this add on.

and again:
After installation it is necessary to clear the webbrowsers cache, it may be also necessary to refresh the webpage with Ctrl-F5.

Sorry for the inconvenience but I forget to change the title of the bouquet-editor tab.
With this new version this is also changed to VU+ Duo BouquetEditor.
