I use the Plugin Ni-Hao is talking about and it works 100%

Very simple to install

Will this work on a Vu+ Duo as well? Or where do I found CCcam 2.14 for Open Pli Beta?

BTW I have an enigma2 plugin (a kind of cronmanager). If you want I can send it to you by PM.

Would you provide it here?

I've been monitoring this error a while now it does not realy makes much difference which version off CCcam I use.

Tonight I has at least 5 stops in a few hours.

Most of them with:

[1]+ Bus error /usr/bin/CCcam -d

But some with:

Segmentation fault.

This means either a bug in CCcam, a bug in the compiler or libraries, or
flaky / overheated hardware. It's caused by an illegal address access
(either out of the process' memory space or unaligned).

There is no simple solution to that, in any case check the receiver
doesn't get too hot.

The receiver and the components are not hot. They are rather cool on the Vuduo compared to my DM800.

Reading this I suspect it might have something to with the USB tuner drivers?

Could the cause be a lack of available memory?

Unlikely but not impossible.

Most likely a bug in cccam or a library.

I have the same issue, but only when using USB-attached Smargo readers. Could it be that the USB-handling is not working properly when the box goes into standby mode?
Anyone aware if the built-in /dev/sci0 and sci1 interface can be added on to? I.e. can identical or similar hardware be purchased somewhere?

I also can confirm CCcam issue with Conax... Go back to 2.1.4 solves it.

Anyone else can confirm this...NO frezees on a Conax (Nordic?) card with CCcam 2.14.

In systemtools a button 'softcam (re)start' is available.

I follow this tread, because I have the same problem...so please keep this in ENGLISH. My CCcam 2.2.1 also stops randomly. And I wondr in which way your "plugin" helps? I tried the script mentioned and even installed the cronmanager plugin, but it does'nt help. the cronmanager runs the script, but the script does'nt restart CCcam. Why????

Sorry about my double Dutch.....

No: the plugin (you will find it in the PPanels) only provides a manual softcam startbutton. Nothing more.

Hi all. I am a newbie to PLi. I have to admit I like it but all of a sudden my CCCAM 2.2.1 is stopping as well. My deco is a DM500HD. First three days I flashed box no problems, but today already 2 times I restarted softcam...

Is this plugin, systemtools also available in PLi 3.0?

@ Vaako. Why don't you try to manual install the posted ipk which you can find several postings back?

If I had all the knowledge I had no questions at all.

thanks

script pli cronjob.... ???

I here have in OpenPLi 2 just a file (without extension): /etc/cron/crontabfile
The content of that file is:

10 * * * * /usr/script/cccam_restart.sh
Which means my script file to check CCcam is the file /usr/script/cccam_restart.sh and will be checked every 10 minutes.

Then start the cron daemon (crond) in telnet with:
/usr/sbin/crond -c /etc/cron/crontabs

BTW I have an enigma2 plugin (a kind of cronmanager). If you want I can send it to you by PM.
