Are you using crossepg?

I found this:

1:0:1:FA1:C350:16E:A00000:0:0:0:

and

1:0:1:FA1:C350:16E:9E0000:0:0:0:

The Arte channel is a parabole channel. But it has almost the same service ref. Except the namespace value is different.

And let this be one of the problems associated with crossepg. Crossepg does not use the namespace when assigning the EPG. For Crossepg these 2 channel;s are the same.

If this ARTE channel does not exist anymore on parabole, I can delete it and the problem will be solved. But ......

Im using cross epg!

Arte is always available in parabole.

But i think it will be better to have the epg for c+ cine hd than arte.

I think most people watch c+ cine hd compare to arte (a little bit).

If it's only me "to take decision", delete arte!

Excuse my poor english!

Same problem:

1:0:1:FA5:C350:16E:9E0000:0:0:0:

1:0:19:FA5:C350:16E:A00000:0:0:0:

For Nat Geo Wild I cannot find a reason why it should be wrong.

Both the schedule are grabbed from the canalplus website.

Is it possible for you to use XMLTVimport?

Willy

Edit: O no you are using BH. I do not know if XMLTVimport can be installed on BH

Have attached the Reunion channels list.

Normally you copy this to the /etc/epgimport/ folder is you want to use it as a local file. (This is not really needed, because you can donwload it form the XMLTV websites automatically - but it could be that you want some alterations to it)

In the sources.xml file you define this as

Rytec Csat Reunion XMLTV

( I edited the full path. Find the exact path in the rytec.sources.xml file in etc/epgimport/)

This is what I have done, but it is not reading my file locally. I figured out that it is reading the reference list from
in the rytec.sources files. I deleted the channel section but now the download stuck. Any clue? Thanks.

Some questions:

1. do you use OpenPLi ? or something else

The solution might be different for other images.

2. Do you need a customised channels file, or is the channels file provided by us sufficient?

I have tested the XMLTV file and Reunion.channels.xml.gz with the off-line importer and this ran perfectely. Log is attached. (i have edited the filename)

There could always be an error in the file. But I cannot spot one.

In the mean time you could try:

1. Look at the import log. (see our FAQ's on how to obtain it)

Look esp[ecially where i tries to locate the file. Is it a remote location, or the local option.

Or send the log to me.

2. restart your system. And try again.

3. If you are using OpenPLi try reinstalling the XMLTVimport-rytec plug-in (remove the old installion first and install again from the feed)

I am using xmltv with OpenPli. What I noticed is that I cannot download any epg if I remove "
". I believe I need to remove this in order for xmltv importer reads my reunion.channels.xml.gz file locally. Otherwise, it will download the online version.

BTW, the reason I use my own channel references is that the channel references tend to change quite often and I prefer to be able to modify easily.

I also intend to send you the updated channel references soon so that you can update it for the benefit of other users. Thanks.

If you want your own channels list to be used, I recommend not to modify the rytec.sources.xml file.

If an update is ran this modified file will be overwritten.

Instead make you own.sources.xml file, and place this file /etc/epgimport.

For the own.sources.xml file the template is depicted hereafter:

<sources>

Erotic XMLTV

</sources>

Copy the exact URL's from the rytec.sources.xml file. (I have editted them out for publishing this)

And as you can see the channels file can be stored anywhere on your system. Just give the full path.

And really this is the only info that is needed.

Willy

Hello Willy,

Thanks for your detailed explanation. I found out the problem. My Reunion.channels.xml.gz file contained one unrecognized character and because of this the download could not proceed.

Anyway, here are the new channels I told you about. I would appreciate if you could add them when you have some time.

Nollywood 1_0_1_C_C738_16E_A00000_0_0_0 Canalsat Reunion
Novelas 1_0_1_197_C4E0_16E_A00000_0_0_0 Canalsat Reunion
Planet A&E 1_0_1_19F_C4E0_16E_A00000_0_0_0 Canalsat Reunion

I am also attaching the updated Reunion.channels.xml.gz file with correct references. You will note that I already included the above new channels in the list. You might wish to rename the channel csr extension name. Thanks.

Thanks for supplying this file. It saves me time editing the file.

I do not understand this:

You might wish to rename the channel csr extension name

Why would I do this.

I have named all the Reunion channels .csr from CanalSat Reunion (and yes I know there is also Parabole Reunion)

This extension is used to distinguish the channels from the same named channels also include in the XMLTV file from NewCaledonie (.cal) and the Carabean (.carab)

Although these channels have the same name, the schedule is different.

I have copied your file to the on-line version of the file. It will be in the next update.

Willy

PS: a good way to check your channels file is to open it in a browser. I tried Firefox,Chrome and Internet Explorer.

They will throw up any errors against XML. (of course not typo's in names or service refs)

Willy

I have included the new channels in the Reunion.channels.xml.gz file I uploaded. For example, the channel D17, I have called it "D17.csr", for A+ I called it "aplus.csr", Golf I called it "golf.csr", etc. What I meant is that if you want to change the filename (not the csr extension) of these new channels you can do it, but I don't think there is any reason to do it.

I cannot find a schedule for:

MUTV 1_0_1_208_C544_16E_A00000_0_0_0 Canalsat Reunion
Novelas 1_0_1_197_C4E0_16E_A00000_0_0_0 Canalsat Reunion

I presume that MUTV is Manchester United TV. I could attached the British schedule to it for this but I do not know if this is correct. (timeshifted)

Novelas - I have no idea where to find a schedule for this.

Hi Doglover & Dimoune,

hope you are well. Sorry for my late reply.

I just see your discussion with dimoune.

EPG for canalsat Reunion & Canalsat Mauritius are the same. We use the same satellite and same transponder reference for each channel.

The EPG work well since our last discussion (December 2015). I use crossEPG with another image.

For the EPG of MU TV & Novelas TV you can find it here (i just verify if it have the epg on their website) :

http://www.canalplus...tes-les-chaines

If i can help for anything, please let me know.

Best regards and have a nice day.
