Hi,
I made an update yesterday and then the Valerie plugin was broken. When I start the plugin browser I got an error that DMC-Plugins (or something like that) is not correct and Valerie did not work.

ciao

Hi,
I used the PLi update. I also deinstalled it completely and reinstalled it.

I try it again this evening and make a note about the error message if it still exist.

same here using the latest nightly build.
install project valerie from the feed
reboot box & no sign of project valerie.
go back into menu/plugins & the error message pops up:
Some plugins are not available.
Extensions/ProjectValerie (error 2) No such file or directory...

Hi,
the path is /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/ProjectValerie//DMC_Plugins.

I created DMC_Plugins and copied all files starting with DMC_ into this folder and it started again. But ProjectValerieSync is missing and when I go to Movies nothins shows up.

ciao

It's woking fine for me. Like Trial said, DMC_Plugins folder is missing in Project Valerie directory. Try with this.
Maybe it matters, that I have DM800

Valerie working again with latest nightly builds, thanks.
However, downloading latest generated builds of Valerie still don't install, it always installs the version in the PLI feed.
Is there a setting to override the PLI feed?

You automatically get the latest version from the PLi feed, no reason to use the disfunctional built-in upgrade. It's just silly that there seems no compatible way to remove that item from the menu.

Using latest OpenPli 2 beta and Project Valerie with Magic-EHD skin.
Any solution?

Project Valerie doesn't update anymore. Current version is rev948, on PLi feeds it's still 886.
I have a DM800, using latest OpenPLi 2.1

Valerie was seriously broken for a while (python scripts wouldn't compile, SVN server not responding), which was breaking the nightly builds. So I stopped the automatic update for a while until they got their act back together.

Seems their server is fixed, you'll get a new version tonight.

I updated yesterday valerie, but if i go to applications i get the following error:
Applications that are not available:
Extensions/projectvaleriesync (no module named projectvalerie._common_)

i have already reinstalled valerie sync but with no result.

I hope you didn't "update" Valerie from within Valerie? That will give you the wrong ipk file, which wasn't built for OpenPLi. Just update the image and it will update Valerie along with it.

I tried to "block" the built-in update once, but that lead to other problems...
