Hi,

I've got a DM800 With gemini 5.1 and I try to setup rytec XMLTV Guide in order to get a 7 days EPG.
I've done the following tasks in telnet :

ipkg install python-compression_2.6.4-ml8.1_mipsel.ipk
ipkg install python-html_2.6.4-ml8.1_mipsel.ipk
ipkg install python-zlib_2.6.4-ml8.1_mipsel.ipk

ipkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport_1.0-r36_mipsel.ipk --nodeps

I've copied in /etc/epgimport the following files :
rytec.channels.xml
rytec.sources.xml

I've modified the file /usr/lib/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport/epgdat_importer.py
replace line 11 tmppath = '/tmp' by tmppath = '/media/hdd'

When I open GP2 Extensions the Plugin EPG Import is present.
I can configure the EPG auto import settings however pressing blue button to access sources, there is no source.

Could you please help me ?

I've setup gemini EPG to use a cache file.

Install the Rytec sources plugin. See: http://rytec.be/

(The actual plugin does not contain sources)

Hi,

It is already done. I've unzipped it to my pc and transfered it to /etc/epgimport

Is it not enough ?

Yes, this should be enough.
It is then a mystery to me, why they do not show up.

The rytec.sources.xml file should be named this way. (check for spelling mistakes)
Also the latest version of the importer can be found here: http://www.pli-image...42&rowstart=140


Maybe an old version installed, which is not compatible with the sources file?

Hi,

Finally it works. I forgot to install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec_20110303-r2_all.ipk

Now the sources are here and the events can be downloaded. However I still not see the entries in the EPG (still get the current and next program).

Any idea to solve it ?

OK I've got it.

Don't know why the cache option in enigma EPG was disabled. Putting it on and restarting the box solve my issue.

If I can give a little advice, it is not well explained in the tuto that we need to install enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport-rytec_20110303-r2_all.ipk AND enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport_1.0-r36_mipsel.ipk

If you can correct it, I think it would be usefull for a lot of newbie like me.

OK, thanks for the advice.
I have added the line.

When you use OpenPli the installation all goes automaticaly and since the seperation of the sources file from the plugin I forgot this to change too on my website.
