I am trying to install:
enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport_1.0+git37+f47a59b4d6a9c7ad879787158987686b158c7c7d-r24_mipsel.ipk
on my Dreambox 7025+ running OpenPLi-beta-dm7025-20110102.zip

Getting errors on libpython, also tried the versions from Rytec.be
python_ipks.zip but still getting error:

error libpython2.6-1.0

I want to stay on OpenPLi 1.0 could one of you be so kind to update the
python_ipks.zip so that i can use the latest epgimport ( the one that supports the mirror sites ) on OpenPLi 1.0

Thanks, Tuurtje

Yesterday, I tried just the same thing. But with success. ( I also do not want to update my 7025)
(I used the VIX version of the plug-in - but I think this will also work with the version you mention)
I hope you have an old version of the xmltvepg importer installed. Just because this simplifies the install.

procedure:

1. Delete the files found in: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGImport
Also delete the files in the .debug dir found in this map

2. In a telnet window install the plug-in with:
ipkg install /yourdir/yourmap/xmltvimport_1.0+git37+f47a59b4d6a9c7ad879787158987686b158c7c7d-r24_mipsel.ipk --nodeps

3. download the latest sources.xml file from rytec.be, unzip and copy to /etc/epgimport

4. restart your box.

Enjoy.

We will not do that... Therefore I recommend to upgrade to OpenPli2.0... Why would you stay on OpenPli1.0??? Any good reason?

In my case. The 7025 is a back-up machine. I just want it to run occasionally, but when I need it, it should work as expected. Which it does now.

I do not want to spent time on ironing out a new image. (Eventually - I will have to)
Each new image contains some features which work differently than the old one. Some plug-ins do not work any-more, and you have to find another solution and so on.

Willy Top

Made a new image, installed epgimport git30 and after reboot did your tric.

Manual works fine, if the automtic (tommorow morning) also works i am a very happy men.

@Littlesat with OpenPLi 2.0 i can't make a full NFI backup ( i have 3 boxes )
Also 1.0 is in my opinion more stable then 2.0

So i love my 1.0 build including a complete backup to put on the other boxes
