Hi stigarta,

In wie fern leuft die 3.59 bei dir besser als die 3.60?

Ich habe selber die scam 3.60 am laufen und bisher keinerlei Probleme damit, alerdings auf einer VU+DUO mit OpenPLI2 beta.

Die 3.60 macht gelegentlich mal Freezer auf den HD+ Kanälen. Dies habe ich mit der 3.59 nicht. Auf ner Dream macht die 3.60 auch gerne mal Probleme, während die 3.59 bestens läuft.

Dazu kommt das die 3.59 die letzte aktuelle Scamversion ist, und die 3.60 nur eine Testversion war..........

Please try this one. The only problem is that this version is lower then 3.60 so in the 3rd party feed this gives a problem, only newer versions will be installed

I found the mipsel you reffered to namely enigma2-plugin-cams-scam.3.59_1.0-r3_mipsel.ipk but the file scam_3.59 is identical with the other version I used to build this IPK, so indeed they are the same

Now the 3.60 is on the Fee, and when i make a update, the PLI aotomatic update my Scam 3.59 to 3.60, what is that/images/smiley/sad.gif

Yes, because 3.60 is more than 3.59. And more is better
So, scam should never release 3.60 if it's not better than 3.59. Or, of course, we should remove scam 3.60. That's an easier solution.

Here ist more not better, the 3.60 makes Freezer at the HD+ Programms in Germany. A many Dreamusers use only the 3.59 because they have no freezers, and better zapping times.

When i update my PLI, i will not update my Scam. What can do that Scam 3.59 is after the update Scam 3.59 and not 3.60?

It makes no fun to install Scam 3.59 after every update manually:=(


And 3.60 was only a Testversion!!!

I assume littlesat will remove the 3.60 version if that one is worse than 3.59. I cannot do that unfortunately.

I hope littlesat will do that, than the 3.59 is the better one. When a person wants the 3.60 he can update manuell......

Or he makes it that the 3.59 not update automaticly to the 3.60 when i update the PLI Image............

Give the ipk a different name and there should be no issue anymore and both 3.59 and 3.60 could be used together... make it e.g. enigma2-plugin-cams-older-scam359_10....
