my Vu Duo+ is not starting after the update ?

there has not been an update for 1.0 since at least 6 months, so the update is probably not the reason your vuduo does not start anymore.

ok now I put back my backup of the drivers that were on the box before.
Now it looks like it starts, but get stuck in the openPli screen with the kid on it.
I can access the box via ftp but nothing else.

any ideas on what to do?

I noticed that the files in lib/modules/2.6.18-7.3 have permissions 644 the files I put in to lib/modules/2.6.18-7.3/extra have permissions 755 is that right should it be that way?

as you do not have to 'execute' drivers, 644 is sufficient. You do not need execute rights.

Def something strange with today's evening update. My emulator does not work anymore. Emu can not read command line arguments on start. Moreover even with correct start he does not works correctly. Some changes?

If not, try a clean update from usb without using your settingsbackup (from v1.0?)
