Hi,

I want to know is it possible to update my DM800SE clone box with boot loader 82 using Open PLi without modifying the image.

Try it... We cannot say as we do not have clone boxes....

Thanks for the reply. Does Open PLi has clone box detection algo to destroy the boot loader like Gemini? Before jump into the water, I want to prepare for the worse.

When Dream Multimedia put destroy bootloader in their drivers this might be... but then it is not induced there by PLi...

I'd bet that if you checked your clone support site they have a current OpenPLi image that will work for you.
DM7020s,DM800HD,DM500HD

just search for golden openpli in google and you will find one suitable for you box
no update in clone this is rule
