I upgrade bootloader , and upload pli image everything seem to be ok !
but I also installed a FAN for the HDD but ... not comes from connector ! is it req. a software switch

I connect 2 pins as shown
also download the fan extension but it said no FAN HARDWARE something !!?!?
how to get it works !

Not sure if it works like the VU+ but it might not be a normal power supply.
It could be a block-current of some kind.
Without the proper fan it won't work.

You could try and add a capacitor of about 100 - 200 micro-farad.
That will cancel out the block-waves and result in a constant power-supply for your fan.
But no guarantees.

TY for reply ... I can use external-power but it's so ugly to use ... with USB 5v power !!!
just another question , previously DAF2000 helped me to add Hebrew Language to Pli in DM500 also to EPG... etc with complete compiled version
but in this box it's enigma2 ... maybe I don't have to compile the whole image ! can't u plz tell me what is the fastest way to do that .. and then I upload translated Hebrew,Arabic menu and modify EPG support

I guess, the fancontrol plugin doesn't recognize the et9100.
You can execute a

echo on > /proc/stb/fp/fan

the only fanplugin that work with et9000 is FanSetup .

I test with multimeter there is no power via PINes so need switch it on via software or something

the fan work only when it switched on by fansetup plugin .

So if that doesn't work, the 9100 might need another driver.

well it does not ! so anyway pli works gr8 with ET9100 ! except fan ...
about the other question? and languages stuff..epg ...any chance to get it work? I want to make complete translation for ET9x00 to support hebrew and it's not even listed at enigma server .... it did work with dm500
