I have restored bluez from my backup:

dm8000@obelix ~/openpli/sources $ ls -l bluez*
-rw-r--r-- 1 dm8000 users 1036508 Jun 21 2009 bluez-4.42.tar.gz
-rw-r--r-- 1 dm8000 users 32 May 6 14:37 bluez-4.42.tar.gz.md5
dm8000@obelix ~/openpli/sources $
Ok, so I'm using the wrong version. -_-
I will try the 4.84 version...

The build is running fine now. It's not finished yet but it's running much longer than before.

im also having trouble compiling, i have been trying for months, and recently started again. i kept my original sources folder, and deleted everything else. my first few compiles threw errors that led me to this thread, and with the files posted here, i have meneged to get as far as the person above, but, mine still fails to compile, and now complains that the following files are missing from my sources directory

eglibc_2.12
libtool-cross_2.4
git-native_1.7.3.5
openssl_0.9.8m
libebml_1.0.0

is there any way of knowing what files i should have in there instead ofwaiting nearly 10 hours for the next error to appear?

thanks for any advise

hi to all

i try to build a image for my stb (just for fun and leaning something)

as in your very good tutorial there was some error while downloading sources
i find and add them with md5 file also

the last packages that give error and stop the compile was utils-linux-ng_2.18.tar.gz
i download it and put in sources but there was the same error
with a better look at file ther was a difference i the file name
utils-linux-ng_2.18.tar.gz.bb and my source file is util-linux-ng-2.18.tar.gz
i try to change the file name in tarball but this dont help at all

also i saw that there is a directory in /openpli/openembed/recipes/util-linux-ng with some bb files inside
are this the file a have to rename ?

and in the error i see that it try to download the package from linux.org, in which file i can chage this ?

There are mirrors which no longer exist, so google for the tarball name, download it, and manually create the md5. That should satisfy bitbake.
