Radio bedienen via Openwebif/mobile.

Bedankt

Gerard

( @ Spacerat, Hemertje and others: Sorry for the wrong language. Here the English version).

Re: Missing the Radio options in Openwebif/mobile.

Currently it is in Openwebif not only possible to see and switch satellite TV-channels but also the TV-streams :-)
Also is this possible for the Radio bouquets. So excellent :-)

In Openwebif/mobile, this is unfortunately only possible for the TV bouquets (not only satellite TV-channels but also TV-streams).
But for the Radio bouquets, this is not possible. You will not see these at all (Satellite-Radio channels and Radio Streams are not accessible).

For details and that discussion: see http://openpli.org/f...obile-bedienen/

Question:
Is it possible to  adjust Openwebif/mobile  in such a way that the possibilities for these points will be equal as in Openwebif. So that you can see the Radio bouquets and that it will be possible to handle the Satellite-Radio services and the Radio-Streams. By handle I mean e.g.  switching of services/streams and that you van swicth  these channels / streams can off ?

(The basic background meaning is that the Radio channels/-stream can be listen through the house amplifier, can be heard in the living room and that it will be possible changing the a channel/stream with an Iphone / Ipad and / or Android Smartphone or tablet (So not streaming to the Smartphone/tabled but only switching).

I hope that some person(s) can pick up this and can invest if there is a possibility and hopefully can implement this option in Openwebif/mobile.
I and most likely many other persons, would be very thankful for this.

Looking forward.

Gerard

Yes, with a rather strange take on ip addresses, subnets and switches.
And finally the conclusion: "That's how simple IPTV can be even with this huge limitation: only one can receive the stream on their TV."
Either they did not test this, or they used the wrong receiver.

The latest commits have break the plugin and break the compatibility with the .bb files used in various images to install only the pictures for the BUILDING boxes.

Please REVERT all these uneeded changes and DON'T CHANGE THE BRAND MODEL DETECTION !!

And please pay more attention in the future to accept pull requests.

the added function:

from enigma import getBoxType

is not standard and is not in the Vu+ official git and derivates

and the names of the pictures and rc graphics files are used in .bb modules to install only the graphics files for the building box.

So again don't change such of structural things and reverts these changes.

@all developers:

I want to remember that  OpenWebif was born to support only official boxes and not clones.
Basically the main box supported from the beginning are Vu+ Dmm and Xtrend. All the rest is not so important and could only make the application too much big and slow.
So i don't agree to add support for thousand of minor boxes.
Who wants to add support in my opinion have to fork our repository not fill the main repository with thousand of lines and pictures.

Once again same q:

when I want go to item 7 (i am on item 1) in plugins, menu etc, I must waiting 6 x delay (6 x cca 2s) ?! When I am press 6x quickly button , still I am waiting cca 12seconds. Why authors did not rebuild it ?  F.eg. when changes incomming in some defined interval, then sending commands to E2 and delay add after last command and once only ?

Could somebody explain me, why is it so user unfriendly made ?

What does not work on it ? For me it works on all my boxes well.

Only - horizontal bar could be better solved.
