Dear SpaceRat or other specialists,
I have another question.
Actual I use now the OpenWebIf for chancing the Radio services (channels/streams) :-)
However the final goal will be if we can use the OpenWebIf/Mobile on our Smartphones in our house.
But if I switch the Radio-services (channels or streams) via OpenWebIf/Mobile the Satellite receiver don’t change and you see in the error message “Error Loading Page” :-(
Could you pay attention to this?
Do you prefer that I make also this question in https://github.com/E...lugin-OpenWebif ?

Well, actually I don't use the Mobile version of the OpenWebif, I prefer Dreamdroid for it.However the final goal will be if we can use the OpenWebIf/Mobile on our Smartphones in our house.
But if I switch the Radio-services (channels or streams) via OpenWebIf/Mobile the Satellite receiver don’t change and you see in the error message “Error Loading Page” :-(
I can have a look, but I'll only fix if it can be fixed within the files for the mobile version ONLY, because else it would likely break something else again.Could you pay attention to this?
Yepp, open a new issue.Do you prefer that I make also this question in https://github.com/E...lugin-OpenWebif ?

@SpaceRat:
Re:Well, actually I don't use the Mobile version of the OpenWebif, I prefer Dreamdroid for it.
Answer:
This is for us a less solution because:
- Most family members do have Iphones/Ipad’s and Dreamdroid is available for Iphone/Ipad :-(
- I have tested DreamDroid on my Android Smartphone . The Radio services are indeed switchable/zap. However the Radio ‘streams’ not because I can’t see the streams as an overview and so are these not selectabl. Internet Radios ‘streams’ (Internet radio) is my families final goal because there are many Thema Radio stations.
Re: I can have a look, but I'll only fix if it can be fixed within the files for the mobile version ONLY, because else it would likely break something else again.
Answer:
That is for me no problem and understandable :-)
We are very happy that you are so kind try to find a possible solution.
Note: We are using the settingslist of Hans which is downloadable in OpenPLi and OpenPli related Images or here http://www.detranspo...kanalenlijsten/. Here are also the Radio ‘streams’ included.
Re:Yepp, open a new issue.
Answer:
Done, see https://github.com/E...Webif/issues/93
Thank you very much for your support

Did I yet explain in here that crApple is a major pain in the ass?
However, there is an alternative to DreamDroid on crApple: e2remote.
It's even authored by jbleyel, one of the main contributors of OpenWebif.
The disadvantage is that e2remote isn't free while DreamDroid is. But hey, if you pay twice the price for a smartphone or tablet, you wouldn't expect the software to be free, would you?
e2remote has one advantage though:
With jbleyel being a contributor to OpenWebif, he is unlikely to ever intentionally break e2remote or limit its functionality together with OpenWebif without technical reasons ... Dreamdroid however origins from a Dreambox employee and the maker of the old Webif ...
We didn’t know about the app “e2remote”. Thank you for this information.
I am also very interested about the help by Schimmelreiter. See https://github.com/E...Webif/issues/93
Further I mentioned earlier:
“- I have tested DreamDroid on my Android Smartphone . The Radio services are indeed switchable/zap. However the Radio ‘streams’ not because I can’t see the streams as an overview and so are these not selectable. Internet Radios ‘streams’ (Internet radio) is my families final goal because there are many Thema Radio stations.”.
Question:
Can you zap the Radio ‘streams’ within the app DreamDroid?

A friend of mine is using it (e2remote Pro) on his iPad and is happy with it.We didn’t know about the app “e2remote”. Thank you for this information.
Just in case you didn't notice: I am SchimmelreiterI am also very interested about the help by Schimmelreiter. See https://github.com/E...Webif/issues/93
I just tried: No.Can you zap the Radio ‘streams’ within the app DreamDroid?

Schimmelreiter/SpaceaRat has support me (us) very munch by his changes in de OpenWebIf/Mobile to make switching Radio stations/streams ‘zap’ possible. See https://github.com/E...-commit-f65c952 and further on in this thread.
He reporting: “I have just tested my patch: Zapping works just fine for well-formed URIs pointing directly to a stream”
This change is implemented on 3 November and so also available in OpenPli.
However I am still not able to manage this (zap) in my situation :-(
Please can any of the readers check the ‘zap’ possibility via the following procedure:
Set your Enigma2 satellite receiver ‘on’ and placed it on ‘Radio’. Listen to a Radio Station for example ‘NL-Radio1’ (so Astra1- 19East)
Then open OpenWebIf/Mobile on your Smartphone (type the IP-adres of your satellite receiver in the web-brouwser of your smartphone). This can be an Iphone or an Android.
Push on Bouquets (Radio).
I my case I see then the normal Radio Bouquets from the settings list from ‘Hans’.
Here I push on the Bouquets ‘Nederland’.
Then I see the Radios Stations/services which are in the Bouquets ‘Nederland’
Here I push on ‘NL-Radio2’. (This is via Astra 1 – 19 East)
Then I see ‘Service’ and ‘Current Event’. If I push these both then noting happens.
Because I would like to zap I push on the ‘ZAP’ button (in the right upper site). However then nothing happens :-(
(note: the ‘BACK’ button in the Left upper corner, is working well).
Looking forward to read the results of your test.

Well, it would be pretty helpful to know with which of your boxes you tried.Well ,through the openwebpage on my phone i also cannot zap.(radio and tv)
Vu+ player probably uses the API interface, that's something completely different. But with vu+ player it al works fine.

Try another browser: I was using explorer for years. But since I switched a year ago to Palemoon (mozilla based browser) all my grieves / strange things with openwebif were over.

When you are on the page where you have the "zap" button, reload the page once.
Can you zap then?
Thank you (SpaceRat and Meega).
I can confirm that (with reload option) this is working on an Android as well on the Iphone. This for radio stations as well for radio 'streams' :-)
Hopefully someone find a fix for this.

is nice, when OpenWebif has progress, but it is not possible merge it "ad hock".
Today did not work (FF, IE) my VU, XP, DMM:
