Is it possible to implement that in stream.m3u generation from openwebif? These should work on other channels too (normal channels that does not use shared pmt)

I've committed an implementation: I've tested it only in "normal" situations: let me know if it works as desired on shared PMT

Bug in remote Control: Volume + is swopped with -.

On my VU+ Duo it is working fine, so it could be a good idea to let know which receiver model you are talking about.

VU+ Duo 4K DVB-S2X en DVB-C met Open PLi 7.0

It's an DM8000. The remote on openweb has the remote of the DM7000. My remote has 4 mote buttons.

Wavefrontier T90, Vu+ Duo 4k SE (DVB-S2x FBC, DVB-T2, DVB-C USB), Octagon SF4008 (dual DVB-S2, DVB-T2 & DVB-C USB), Mutant HD51 (DVB-S2 & DVB-T2), TBS6920 & TBS6925

If using an OpenPLi image:

opkg update
opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-openwebif

Or you could probably install through the package management system (plugins) with the remote.

Other images you could just download he files from https://github.com/E...Webif/downloads & copy to / over write your existing OpenWebIf install...

Is it possible to include extra direct commands, like: "restart softcam", "go to Graphical Multi EPG"... etc... please?

for the softcam:
something like: "http://box_ip/api/so...ommand=restart" , "http://box_ip/api/so...mand=restartcs" and maybe "http://box_ip/api/so...restartboth"... for example.

for the landing page:
something like: "http://box_ip/api/vi...ew=gfxmultiepg" , "http://box_ip/api/vi...w?view=plugins" , "http://box_ip/api/vi...w=ppanels".....

Now I send a command sequence to achieve these results, but it's always changing based on what is installed, so if I install a dreambox differently, then the sequence change.

Sorry absolutely not.
No Softcams support and remember that this is an universal plugin for all images.

Yes it is working well on live streams. However, if one of these channels is recorded and then you attempt to stream the recorded file... then VLC doesn't display.

I guess that the sid value in the '.meta' file would need to be retrieved and used to inform the 'program=sid'.

I have added the global variable for OpenWebIf version in info model.
@ All contributors: please bump the plugin version at every fix or addition you make.

controllers/models/info.py
OPENWEBIFVER = "OWIF 0.1.2"

Hi guys,

with the old webif I used DreaMote Lite and OPlayer to stream to my iPad. Now, with the OpenWebif it doesn't work anymore - the OPlayer tries to load the stream and fails. After editing the stream-url e.g. from

http://et9000/web/stream.m3u&ref=1:0:1:6D66:437:1:C00000:0:0:0:

to

http://et9000:8001/1:0:1:6D66:437:1:C00000:0:0:0:

the OPlayer successfully loads and plays the stream. Does the OPlayer though not recognize the OpenWebif stream-url?

I also tried to stream directly from OpenWebif in Safari by clicking onto the stream-icon. A new tab with Quicktime-Player was loaded, but the stream didn't start although my ET9000 started to stream (shown by red icon on the front display).

Any ideas?

Really no one can help?

There is a significant difference between the old Webif and the Open Web streaming URLs:
(Same Channel)
Old: http://et9000/web/stream.m3u?ref=1%3A0%3A1%3A1B7B%3AC88%3A3%3AEB0000%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A

New:http://et5000/web/stream.m3u?ref=1:0:1:1B7B:C88:3:EB0000:0:0:0:&name=Ned1%20HD

This difference might be the reason it doesn't work, the URLs are legal according to RFC3986, but interpretations
may vary. I can't test or verify this, I have no iPad, and no oPlayer.

Personally I don't like and cannot see the advantage of using an m3u file as an intermediary, but I am a noob.

Btw, can you open the working stream URL in the browser on your iPad? In firefox with the VLC plugin installed that works: tabbed streaming!

The main reason the m3u is used, is to allow the browser to launch vlc (or another video player).
Tabbed streaming in firefox with the vlc plugin is something which didn't work a while ago. And still, the last time I used it, the experience was not as smooth as an external vlc.

(I know that I am only replying to the least important part of your post. But it's the only part I have an answer for right now)

Me too can not stream with Ipad and Oplayer from dreambox.

It seems that dreaMote sends encoded URLs to the box which does not work:

If you try in browser:

(1) works ->
http://box:8001/1:0:1:6DCA:44D:1:C00000:0:0:0
(2) does not ->
http://box:8001/1%3A0%3A1%3A6DCA%3A44D%3A1%3AC00000%3A0%3A0%3A0%3A

First is URL from OpenWebIf
Second is URL from dreaMote

edit: url changed to code

At first I thought this should be changed in dreamote but the encoded url is correct and should be recognized by the web server (which in this case is the box).

So i think this is more an issue of openwebif because it does not work with (correct) encoded urls...

Any dev with OpenWebIf knowledge: please point me in the right direction where to change above behaviour? Maybe one of the following files?

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpenWebif/controllers/web.pyo
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/OpenWebif/controllers/models/stream.py

I assume that somewhere it lacks an unquote?
