Hi i start building the image today , so all went great except the 3_build_openpliPC.sh i got an error :

autoreconf: 'configure.ac' or 'configure.in' is required
./3_build_openpliPC.sh: line 199: ./configure: No such file or directory

Show the output  ls -l  inside the source. It looks like enigma2 did't download.

Thanks it works now , is there is a way i can change the resolution :

ziko, what graphics do you have? Intel/ATI? If so, then use the 'opengl' video driver in xine.conf. If nvidia, then use the proprietary driver only.
In general, 'Class Plus HD' skin is set by default for first start. Something went wrong during installation (OpenPLi-PC/pre/enigma2/settings).
Or rename the 'settings.example' file to 'settings' and change for yourself.

<- Not sure if this is necessary. Try just changing the video driver for now.

For these gpu you need the osd patch (as available for opengl) which is absend. See 'xine-lib-1.2-14450: b6cc71673eb9.patch'

In this case I would do uninstall all libxine2, install xine from the repositories, generate a new config and compare it in 'meld' with the config for vdpau. Then I would do uninstall all xine, install our packages for e2pc again and replaced xine.conf with a new one.
Previously, we used xine.conf.vaapi for Intel integrated graphics with the opengl driver.

I will look for ATI in my junk.

ziko, I don't see any problems with ATI Radeon. Which video card do you have? Perhaps the newest?

For me ATI video driver from the box 19.10 is working. I did't nothing at all and everything works. The only one idea is that we should never update the old system to new release. It's better to install Ubuntu on the usb drive, for example, and run scripts. I have already had cases where attempts to upgrade Ubuntu to release ended very poorly. For example, after trying to upgrade 18.04 to 19.10, I got broken dependencies. gstreamer-1.0 didn't want to accept its own packages, necessary for installing OpenPli-PC!
By the way, in 'xine.conf' I have the video driver 'auto' by default.

It's not a mistake. The definition of the type of stream now occurs according to the types hevc, avc, mpeg2 for switching the metronome. It works reliably. Since there are several attempts, one of them is the radio mode. I don't think that this causes inconvenience. On the contrary, resets the decoder. And then it's just a screensaver that is in receivers.

In my case it's not reliable at all, why it should switch to radio mode if i watching a tv channel?
If you read the log you will notice the following lines
VIDEO_FREEZE
VIDEO_SLOWMOTION (0)
Besides e2 switches to resolution 16x16 (that occurs in previous builds too) after that it switches to radio mode then it hangs.
How to get rid of that 16x16 resolution?

Switches the metronome. It previously didn't work by type of stream at all, since the concept of HD / SD (like hex or dec) cannot be defined. More precisely, constantly the same number was. This radio screensaver has nothing to do with reliability. What graphics card do you have? What is this channel on which 16x16?

It doesn't freeze because the 'radio' screen appears. The hang may be due when switching to a channel with an unstable signal. The simultaneous appearance of a splash screen can occur because the decoder does not understand what is due to a weak signal.

He overflows with garbage and is not restored back. As for reliability ... I work.

See the original decoder.cpp. (VIDEO_FREEZE...)

I mean why do i have to see radio screensaver before i watch a tv channel?
That was not happening in any e2 i had used.
I use an Intel integrated graphic card and also Nvidia card.
I don't remember if resolution 16x16 occurs while using Nvidia card or not.
There is no channel that has resolution 16x16, i notice that e2 randomly switches to 16x16 for fractional second then it switches back to normal resolution.
You didn't notice that?

Man, splash screen has nothing to do with it. :D

Tell me which channel shows 16x16.

Rename the e2 folder to e2_. Get the old enigma from this link and transfer the necessary files to e2. You will see the same. e2pc will restart on the such channels. I just checked now. And not I turn on the splash screen, but definition the types of streams. I can remove it, but that’s unuseful. Please understand.

I also want to understand why it reboots or freezes. But this happens on VDR and even on professional television equipment. Please don't argue. We will just look for a solution.

LOL, i think there is some misunderstanding.
I didn't mention anything about the splash screen, i'm also not arguing.  :D
I'm talking about the radio screensaver. (e2 radio background)
My problem is i see the radio screensaver for fractional second before switching to tv channel.
This had never occurred in the past.
Did you notice that too or not?

There is no specific channel that has 16x16
Look in that area where it has red rectangle and you will see it, just try to switch channels one by one like 10 times or so.

Is it normal to see that radio screensaver before watching some tv channel?
Although channel name starts with Radio but it's a tv channel  :D

The image is fluid but the indication of no signal is always fixed.

Everything works fine except this. How can i solve this?

Thanks
