Attached File  rm.png   24.79KB   0 downloads

Can someone verify if that bug exists?
Play any video file using Mediaplayer plugin.
Switch to full remote in Openwebif.
Click on the rewind key on the remote control.
In my case, it does fastforward instead!
Why is that?  :D

I think that might affect the timeshift function but i'm not sure though.

Wrong keycode mapping?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Yeah, that what i'm thinking about but i didn't alter anything.
I even used Mediaplayer2 plugin then checked keymap settings, it looks fine.

Then no idea, it was just a wild guess...

What happens if you use the standard file list to play back? It might be an issue in that plugin?

The thing is there is no rewind or forward in the following E2pc remapped remote control keys.

RED     ->  F1
GREEN   ->  F2
YELLOW  ->  F3
BLUE    ->  F4

VOL UP    ->  +  (numeric pad) or +
VOL DOWN  ->  -  (numeric pad) or -

NEXT CHANN. -> ARROW DOWN
PREV CHANN. -> ARROW UP
NEXT BOUQUET -> PAGE DOWN
PREV BOUQUET -> PAGE UP

EXIT    ->  ESC
MENU    ->  SPACE
INFO    ->  I or F5
OK      ->  ENTER

EPG     ->  E or F6
POWER   ->  F10
RECORD  ->  R
TV      ->  T
VIDEO   ->  V
AUDIO   ->  A
RADIO   ->  D
MUTE    ->  M
TIMESHIFT ->  P

QUIT ENIGMA2      ->  X
FULL SCREEN MODE  ->  F11

How does OpenWebif remote control rewind key remapped itself to do fastforward?  :blink:
(That was a joke, it surely didn't remap itself but someone did  :) )
Do you use E2pc in order to verify that bug?

The Owif remote just uses the internal Enigma keycode, so that should always work, providing the code uses the keycode correctly.

No, I don't use E2PC. I have enough on my plate with 70+ supported stb models... ;)

Thanks for the clarification, i was about to blame OpenWebif.
So, if i understand you correctly then someone should alter the internal E2pc keycode to fix that issue?
By the way, i use DVB cards for pc since long time ago.
I was not interested to purchase any STB and i think i won't.  :)
I use E2pc just for fun however most of the time i use VDR SoftHDDevice.

That's why i wanted to use enigma2 on my Raspberry Pi with my USB DVB card, i made a topic asking how to compile it but you locked it since it comes from another team.
I even cant find that topic anymore.  :D

Edit: i found the topic here

It makes no sense to chanch anythig in dvbsoftwareca. I insert the usb stick into the old PC and everything works. Most likely, need ask developers to rewrite intel-microcode and iucode-tool.

Below is the part of kernel.log when I run enigma2 and trying to open an encrypted channel. The module is dying. The Internet is teeming with similar logs.

I think there will be a correction soon. Already opens encrypted channels, but need to clean this code.

As I understand it, the problem is in the lock bit of the Intel x86 processor, which prohibits page rewriting.

We are using libxine. Now is possible fast forward only. The rest modes using the number keys.
The keyboard map is located in rcxlib.cpp. Convert to your needs yourself. When using Lirc, we can assign any key to any type of remote control.

Hi,

I changed

case 58: // M
return KEY_MUTE;
To
case 58: // M
return KEY_REWIND;

in  rcxlib.cpp then re-compiled,

Now key m does fast forwarding  :blink:

Unfortunately, i don't use Lirc,

I tried number keys

1 rewind

3 forward

Is there other key for fast rewinding?

Show me segment starting with the phrase 'int eXlibInputDevice :: translateKey (int key)'.
You probably did it wrong and got a dual-use key conflict. The question of reassignment has already been repeatedly asked here.

Is there other key for fast rewinding?

Numeric keys only.

What do you mean?

I only see this in the log

action: seekBack
[ActionMap] Keymap 'MediaPlayerSeekActions' -> Action = 'seekBack'.
----Ratio=-1
resolved to FAST FORWARDmetronom: fixing sound card drift by 2771 pts.

seekBack = FAST FORWARD?

Apparently, I didn’t understand you. You turned out that KEY_REWIND; gives the opposite effect? This is true?

No, i changed KEY_MUTE to KEY_REWIND

Now when i press m it does FAST FORWARD as you can see in the log.

Try it and let me know if it works.

Rebuilding today with 18.04 and 19.10, clean install and updating sources.

All work fine with the latest updates, even viewing encoded channels is possible now,

Thanks 1455 for the great work.

I only have one problem with 19.10, the sound does not work, the active alsa-plugin does not appear in the settings. Any suggestion?
Thanks again

Not working means?
- The plugin doesn't work coz of some error?
- It works but no video can be played?

In order of receipt of questions.
What does 'aplay -l' say?

OSD->xine. You can change these settings?
