The current commit takes into account that people may not understand what to do if e2pc does not start due to incorrect network settings. To be honest, I regret that I made scripts that are designed for pressing the Enter key. Try building and configuring VDR with plugins, e.g.
Once again, I encourage everyone to learn the basics and help each other. If something does not work out, then learn and do not be offended by me.

I like building VDR plugins than running scripts with a click of a button

Because you won't know what the author of the scripts is trying to do.

For ex.,  i didn't notice that you added the following lines to rc.local

if [ -d /dev/dvb ]; then
/usr/local/e2/bin/prestart.sh
fi

Bdw, you didn't comment on e2pc PiP feature, is it xine-lib or e2pc limitation?

It works flawlessly using VDR Softhddevice as you see in screenshot.

Hello there ..

Finaly i'ev just finished running all the 7 scripts of OpenPLi-PC without errors

but when  i start enigma2 it crashes giving this ...

  [Font] Failed: No such file or directory.

Attached is the enigma2 crash log file

Any help would be appreciated.

I rebuild enigma2 and the plugins after renaming /usr/local/e2 to /usr/local/e2_old

but it changed nothing!.

You can delete JediMakerXtream folder and try again.

Can you post the contents of the the following directory?
/usr/local/e2/share/fonts

ls /usr/local/e2/share/fonts

Fonts looks ok.

There is a problem with Videomode system plugin.

You are the 2nd person who report the same error.

E2pc crashes when you select a language.. right?

 

Which repo you have used to build e2pc?

OpenPLi-PC or OpenPLipc_procfs?

Exactlly it crashes just after i selected a language for the first time

after the build, after that no language choose, just the crash

and i used OpenPli-PC repo.

I'll try again today.

Have you installed other skins?

Try unpatched Videomode system plugin off OpenPLipc_procfs repo.

After selecting a new language, DVB adapter, Diseqc etc try to exit the setup wizard then use old Videomode system plugin again till this issue is fixed.

That contains the followings lines

config.misc.firstrun=false
config.misc.initialchannelselection=false
config.misc.languageselected=false
config.misc.videowizardenabled=false

By doing so you'll skip the language selection.

I'm not sure what you mean by that   ..but what i did is rebuild the plugin using the script file from the OpenPLipc_procfs after downloading the https://github.com/a...eads/master.zip

Here is VDR SoftHDDevice PiP, the above screenshot doesn't look as a PiP coz i was using an alternative mode.

 

Why it's not possible to have PiP feature in e2pc?

Although there is a working plugin for that purpose as i posted here
