ah fixed it tried the vtunerc.i686 from the original page and not my own compiled one and then it connected
nice never knew about it before vtuner rocks

how i got it running

kill enigma with init 4, kill your running cardemu

vtunerd 1 01 2 0 & on the dm8000
start your emu and then start enigma with init 3

modprobe vtunerc on the i686
vtunerc -f s2 &

start openplipc

i have commit today some changes in the buffer handling into the git.

sd-channels MPEG2 and hd-channels MPEG4 from DVB-S2 works on my 2.4Ghz Dualcore without any problems.

strange... i dont have picture on hd channels from Cyfrowy Polsat provider... channel list is correct, works on SH4 Enigma2 box...

i dont know if this is xine-lib problem or Enigma...

I am having trouble installing the vtuner daemon on a DM800:
1. I downloaded vtunerd.mipsel and ftp (binary mode) to dm800.
2. I put in place /etc/vtunerd.conf as per nessie tut.
3. I run "vtunerd.mipsel 1 0 0 0 0" or "vtunerd.mipsel 1 0 0 0" and it fails with "segmentation fault".

Any help appreciated.

My installation on Ubuntu 11.10 of kernel module seemed to be OK, but I wont know until I have a server to test against.


Note: I could not find an ipkg to do the installation - all ipkgs seem to be for client. Could only find vtunerd.mipsel in downloads.

Strangely enough I did exactly the same thing on my DM500HD running openPli and it works - well it runs, so it seems like it is a DM800HD/Blackhole image problem.

the previous version of cougar_enigma have many flaws with sd or hd h264 with your patch applied "patch16" to xine-lib, vdr is working good,
in your version of enigma2_openpli, the latest in git when I write this cant get video since the enigma2 gives me this information.

adapter0/demux0 idx 0: change to even key
adapter0/demux0 idx 0: even key not ready (200 ms)
adapter0/demux0 idx 0: not active. wait skipped

I do not know if you test this feature.

if i run enigma2_cougar all is working good with this feature.

Hello, in vtuner package are more file , plz mate can u dezvolt how to install (wich files/folder instalation) on DM500HD OpenPli
I am not a coder but i like the ideea allso, would be nice to have openpliPC in xbmc.

openPLi starts on channel TVN - works, i changed to Polsat HD - not works - no picture and afert that changed to Polsat - works.

My configuration:
Asrock ION 330HT, TBS QBOX S2, Ubuntu 10.04.3 desktop fully upgraded on 05 december all packages installed from your scripts, nothing more.

I have patched with the latest xine-lib20111216 continuous slide show and there is no sound, SD or HD channels, OpenPLI, Nemesis or Enigma2PC (cougar_enigma branch new_xine_plugin). Sound when you change appears for a split second and silence. Me log
Here log with patches of 12.12.2011 and when viewing the channel MPEG4. HD slide show and also crash, SD MPEG-2 showed a normal

@ nobody9, thank you very much for your work, maybe you can do as VDR.
As I understood, the VDR stream before it reaches the FIFO is processed files (remux.c, remux.h) and then another vdr-xine (vdr-xinelibout) still processes it and sends it to the FIFO. Since with the same xine-lib VDR works without problems, then it may be necessary to change something in the code Enigma2?

Since now enigma2/ tree is included in openpliPC main repo.
The enigma2 tree is patched by nobody9 and it's ready to compile.

So when you do the first "git clone" or a "git pull" to openpliPC repo be patient: you download the full enigma2/ tree


Next step will be to include xine-lib in the same way to main openpliPC repo.

No they are not. With VDR these channels works.

Xine-lib now included in openpliPC repo.
build_enigma2.sh is renamed to build_openpliPC.sh and it compile xine-lib and enigma2

From README :

2) Building needed openpliPC enigma2 libraries:
It download, build and install all needed libraries
Some tasks require root access (sudo). You will be asked for your password.
This task must be run ONCE at the first time. These libs are compiled from
its original sources and aren't patched anyway.

./build_libs.sh
If you are interested to have a logfile , simply do:
./build_libs.sh 2>&1 | tee build_libs.log



3) Build Xine-lib and openpliPC Enigma2:
It compile and install xine-lib and the openpliPC Enigma2.
xine-lib and enigma2 are included in openpliPC main repo and code
is already patched ready to compile.
Some tasks require root access (sudo). You will be asked for your password.

./build_openpliPC.sh
If you are interested to have a logfile , simply do:
