Hi guys,

I was a little far from this project for a while since my VU+ does not work with vtuner. I'm just trying to decide for buying a usb tuner for may Mac Mini. Anyone using a sub tuner card with OpenPLi PC? How much does it take to zap ? Is it OK for daily usage ?

Edited by buyukbang, 2 July 2012 - 12:22.

It all started with a BigBang...

Hi,

I don't know if OpenpliPC is working on a Mac.
I am using OpenpliPC for fun and not for daily usage, but so far all the tests I have performed are quite positives, so I think that you can use it for daily usage.

Hi,

Which Linux version do you use to compile?
Is your Kernel DVB enabled?

On Ubuntu:

cat /usr/src/linux-headers-`uname -r`/include/linux/dvb/version.h

You see something like this:

#define DVB_API_VERSION 5
#define DVB_API_VERSION_MINOR 4

Do you first run; build_libs.sh and then build_openpliPC.sh

If you get errors with build_libs.sh then you cannot use build_openpliPC.sh, first fix build_libs.sh problems.

Hi,

attached a script and a Patch to compile enigma2 Openpli on Ubuntu 10.4 32 Bit.

To compile:

Extrackt the enigma2-i386.tar.bz2
cd enigma2-i386
./build-enigma2.sh

You will found enigma2 under $HOME/enigma2 their you can start enigma2 with bin/enigma2.
The configs are stored under $HOME/enigma2/etc/enigma2.

I have mapped some Buttons to Keyboard;

RED - F1
GREEN - F2
YELLOW - F3
BLUE - F4

MENU - SPACE

So you can Test Plugins or Skins without a STB.

Regards,

nobody9

where is the file,please?
regards

Hi, all :)

For me this patch solves the problem, if DVB stream is interrupted, there is no key to the server (as a consequence there is no sound).
Many errors in the stream starts a slide show is reopening the stream xine-lib.
Copy this patch to SOURCE_DIR_ENIGMA2PC and run command
patch -p0 < Renew_Stream_and_count_zero.diff
and remake e2pc

Hi guys

nice thread here

so here is my questions b4re i go on about installing enigma2pc on my ubuntu machine

i am running at the moment ubuntu-server10.04 x64bits+nvidia hdmi geforce 8400gs 1gb ddr3+XBMC+MYTHTV+TBS S/S2 card+sasc-ng with newcamd protocol to watch sub channel,

my first questions are

i am using the DTV 3000 drivers in mythtv in order to work correctly my tbs card with kernel 2.6.32 with dvb support..

will enigma2pc work fine with my setup dvbs/s2 card?
will enigma2pc work as a plugin of XBMC fine with no tweaking?

as anyone tested this on xbmc?

i know that there is a tuxbox client option on xbmc for it to work with external sat linux box.. but my question is will it work straight out with my dvbs card?

any comments are welcomed guys ...

git clone git://git.opendreambox.org/git/obi/libdvbsi++.git
cd libdvbsi++
dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us
cd ..
sudo dpkg -i libdvbsi++*.deb

apt-get install libxslt1-dev libdvdnav-dev libavcodec-dev libpostproc-dev libavcodec-dev python-dev libssl-dev

cd libxmlccwrap
dpkg-buildpackage -uc -us

git clone git://schwerkraft.elitedvb.net/libdreamdvd/libdreamdvd.git
cd libdreamdvd

Hi,

just installed Ubuntu 12.10 amd64.

Compiling openPliPC gives me an error:

 In file included from ../../lib/base/ebase.h:12:0,
                 from ebase.cpp:1:
../../lib/base/eptrlist.h: In Instanziierung von »ePtrList<T>::iterator ePtrList<T>::insert_in_order(T*) [with T = eTimer]«:

Any idea? It worked fine under 12.04 amd64...

Hi,

I never to try to compile it on a 64bits OS, people using ArchLinux have created this thread where a similar problem than yours is reported:

https://aur.archlinu...es.php?ID=55988

Code change is needed in order to fix this error.

@DrMichael
In file lib/base/eptrlist.h replace string number 178

return this->insert( std::lower_bound( std::list<T*>::begin(), std::list<T*>::end(), e, less()), e );

But it must be used on x32 platform openplipc
