I'm looking for a way to work "HbbTV" from version "OpenPLi PC" after research it is impossible to use a "OperaTV" because it must be used with "fbdirect" off "OpenPLi PC" does not work with "gfbdc.cpp" but with "gxlibdc.cpp".
It uses "X11" and "Xlib", and after searching I came across this: https://code.google.com/p/eve-browser/
What's interesting about this project is that can be used with "fbdirect" or "GTK", after some changes I managed to make it work with "GTK" and "Webkit", except that I still confronted with a rather annoying problem regarding "GTK". It is on this that I would like to know if a solution can be possible ?
Because when I run "Eve Browser" instead of transparency, I display a gray background in the same window size, I put you below a similar result to my picture :

I do not know if you've already worked on the "GTK" with "X11 Xlib" environment ?
From my side I have found no solution, and even on specialized forums on "GTK", nobody has any idea how to make this window transparency, much less the author of "Eve Browser".

I've read the entire thread and it seems to be working ok after a quick test, but I'm still none the wiser on how to install plugins...I want to replace my ageing dreambox but can only do so if I can get EPGImport, Autobouquets E2 and CCcam working.

 

If anyone is willing to help, please bear in mind that I'm pretty useless with ubuntu!

problem solved, when i start vnc with:

vnc4server -geometry 1280x1024 -depth 24 -name "ub1"

How can me make it. Sorry not good in that linux. Tried to use it as an own shellscript.

ok no problem, i modified the patch to apply in the openpliPC structure for you.

 

download the attachment to your openpliPC directory ( from where you also run ./build_openpliPC.sh etc )

 

unzip it

 

then in a shell go to that directory and run

 

patch -p0 < xine.patch

now run the build again and it should be ok

put the attachment in the same dir as before, unzip it

 

 

patch -p1 < eptrlist.patch

that should be it

How can me just install ipk files or use a feed. Would be nice to get easy just to try. Is there any more help for that so will not ask for everything as I like to sorry.

Ok got it working perfectly using the raider05 git, FTA channels work great, everything is quick and smooth...then I use oscam to descramble my card and it's very glitchy, tried playing around with video options with no luck.  Will this ever work perfectly when descrambling or should I just give up now and save a lot of hassle???
