With some DVB-T USB stick in E2 there is no a feedback about SNR end/or BER and/or AGC

I.e.
with A867 there is only BER and AGC, no SNR
with RTL2832 there is nothing at all.

It looks to be NOT a driver problem: dvb_frontend_ops is correctly defined and if I enable kernel debug, values are there without any problem.
So i think that there is some strange issue involving E2<->DVB_driver

I wish to investigate about this issue but I'm not an expert about E2.

Can someone kindly tell me WHERE and WHICH E2 functions are involved in reading AGC,SNR,BER ?

With my sticks:
PCTV 290e (em28xx-dvb): AGC OK, BER OK, no SNR;
Terratec Hybrid T XS (em28xx-dvb): AGC OK, BER OK, SNR OK (if I remember correctly);
A867 (dvb-a867): AGC OK, BER OK, no SNR (as you reported);

You have also a PCTV 330i that is very similar to my Terratec stick: maybe you can check if everything works fine with that stick too, so you will have a working driver to use as reference.

I checked again and I can now confirm the Terratec stick is reporting the SNR value in a meaningful way.
The AGC value seems to max out at 24%, while with other sticks it can go up to 100%.
For all sticks, the BER is reported as a numeric value but the bar is never displayed. Also, every stick seems to have its own scale (some max out at about 32.000 (16 bit signed value?) while others can go higher).
