There's no "magic e2 code which runs only on dreambox" implemented in ds, it's a normal gstreamer pipeline like shown in the attachment.

This is an interesting part of the log.... it seems that the channel get not selected in the proper way......channel not found!

gstreamer (the souphttpsrc element) drops the connection because it does not like what it sees.
Needs to be investigated.
eSocketBase::writeAll error (Bad file descriptor)
is a result, not the cause.
And
'channel not found' is not related

it seems, dreamstream works with PLi now... But very frequently: streaming interrupted, resync.
