• Completed all languages, thanks to the translators: DE Biki3, FR Demosat, IT Matrix64, TR SSD, RU Odyssey, SK Dym1, PL Blzr, ES agmuser
• Added a temporary routine to detect if a back-up is made on one of the new machines et8000 or et10000, if so the program aborts because it is still unknown (to me) if there are any changes in the use of the mtd's, so to avoid problems it is better to abort the program. When these machines hits the market the support will be added as soon as possible. Also it isn't clear yet if the maximum size of the back-up, ~128MB, to restore is also the case for these new machines.

Hello,

I see that on a Solo2 when I've just install the image, Backupsuite plant because it can not find the UBIFS file.

The solution I found is to install Automatic_FullBackup and make it work again. After BackupSuite work properly.

Perhaps it is I who am a bad operation?

Anyway, nothing too serious as it is done only once.

PS: I have seen since I have changed Deco (Duo> Solo2) and I use the 14.4 release.

If you install the BackupSuite with a working internetconnection on the receiver the following packages are also installed:

Depends: mtd-utils
Recommends: mtd-utils-ubifs

 the package mtd-utils-ubifs is the by you mentioned UBIFS file (ubinize or mkfs.ubifs, bot are contained in this package)

 

If you install Automatic_Fullbackup also the following packages are installed (is mentioned in the control file):

Recommends: mtd-utils-ubifs
Depends: mtd-utils

 

So both packages installs the same additional packages, I also just tried, I removed the BackupSuite and installed it again and all was working fine.

 

So I haven't a clue why it don't/didn't work on your side

- Added support for the new ET8000 and ET10000
- Disabled the warnings about a too big image for the new models ET8000 and ET10000 (until proven incorrect)
- Some minor code changes to accommodate the new models

Version 14.7b was a Beta version

Look for Dflash, that should do the trick for you (I think)

It seems there are some problems with the Russian language pack, it could give a green screen when the language is set to Russian.
If someone suffers from this problem please try attached language pack. This gives no greenscreen but I can't test any further because my testmachine doesn't show the Russiancharacters in console mode.

 

Until there is a definitive fix/confirmation you could try/use this language pack

• When the USB only version is started there will be checked if the intended USB stick has enough free space to build the back-up. If there is less space then 4 times the size of rootfs the program will display a warning and the program will be aborted. The program needs this space to write temporary files for different stages in the process
• Corrected the Russian language pack
