@Pedro_Newbie,
BackupSuite supports hundreds of STBs now so using "if" situations is not a good idea, Why not just use:

python /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/findkerneldevice.py
 KERNEL=`cat /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/chosen/kerneldev`
 KERNELNAME=${KERNEL:11:7}.bin
 echo "$KERNELNAME = STARTUP_${KERNEL:17:1}"
 log "$KERNELNAME = STARTUP_${KERNEL:17:1}"
 dd if=/dev/kernel of=$WORKDIR/$KERNELNAME > /dev/null 2>&1

instead of

if [ $SEARCH = "hd51" ] ; then
 python /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/BackupSuite/findkerneldevice.py
 KERNEL=`cat /sys/firmware/devicetree/base/chosen/kerneldev`
 KERNELNAME=${KERNEL:11:7}.bin
 echo "$KERNELNAME = STARTUP_${KERNEL:17:1}"
 log "$KERNELNAME = STARTUP_${KERNEL:17:1}"
 dd if=/dev/kernel of=$WORKDIR/$KERNELNAME > /dev/null 2>&1
	elif [ $SEARCH = "sf4008" -o $SEARCH = "et11000" ] ; then
 dd if=/dev/mmcblk0p3 of=$WORKDIR/$KERNELNAME
 log "Kernel resides on /dev/mmcblk0p3"
	else
 dd if=/dev/mmcblk0p1 of=$WORKDIR/$KERNELNAME
 log "Kernel resides on /dev/mmcblk0p1"
	fi

and go global for all?

So BackupSuite works on ATV and restores correctly on PLi right?
It means it can not do the corrrct backup on PLi for h7 ...
We need to fix this and maybe it's binary related.

Of course.
You understand perfectly: with box H7 + openpli 6.1 you can restore an openAtv full backup.
Now test this version please :)

I've done a new test.
I put the new plugin replacing the old plugin, I tested the backup on USB (yellow button), but the box answered me:
"/ bin / sh: /usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extension/BackupSuite/backupusb.sh: Permession denied"

I await new development, bye

That's not a problem just set the permissions for .sh files to 755 (Go to plugin folder with a "cd" command and use "chmod 755 *.sh" command) ;)

As I attached zip file you have to overwrite it over ipk version to not losing permissions.

Good news, backupsuite now also works on zgemma H7.
I made backup on USB and I restored both with the file on USB and with backupsuite blue button.
Thanks and congratulations

Good to hear :)
No pain no gain ;)
BackupSuite is now ok on develop branch but if you're using 6.1 you have to wait for my next revision update as I want to update some translations and the pot file.

What did you expect?

I apologize, maybe the translator has made a bit of confusion.
I asked when the new changes will be available updated on-line

Mi scuso, forse il traduttore ha fatto un po 'di confusione.
Ho chiesto quando le nuove modifiche saranno disponibili aggiornate on-line

Ok first version for dreambox support from my dmm branch: https://github.com/p...pSuite/tree/dmm is ready!

It won't work for new xz and bz2 images so don't test it on dm520,dm7080,dm820 and dm900,dm920!

It can't restore/flash it can only backup for you!

This version depends on "mtd-utils-jffs2" and "dreambox-buildimage" ;)

Please test and let me know :)

Backup Suite now supports dreambox too: https://github.com/p...in/whatsnew.txt (No xz support for now)

It's only available for develop branch as we're doing some tests here: https://github.com/D...dream/issues/25

You will be able to use it on rc 6.x later ... (No ETA)

:)
