Then you could better use the automatic fullbackup by Dima73Would it be an idea to add an option that makes it possible to limit the HDD backup versions one makes and so limit the disk usage. Maybe using lifo at a certain number of backups, just an idea

You need to uninstall it and install it again... It is now build directly from sources instread on the 3rd party feed....

I had the same problem, to solve it, update/commit first Openpli itself in menu system and after restart of the box backupsuite will install well.

uninstall/install doesnt works for me
upgrade openpli first too. same error
i open backupsuite some info screen and i press red or ok and i'm back in the plugin menu

You need to uninstall backup suite and install it again.... Not the 17.8 version but the git something version...

everything done. uninstall old, install this one with git 1.02 or something and get this error, but when i'm uninstall again enigma uninstall the 17.8. tried this several times

There are some problems with these 2 versions if you have a working one my advise would be not to update at the present moment!

Indeed the 2 versions conflicts, the one with the highest number is installed, I think the solution is to remove the 3rd party version then all shoud be fine.

Tomorrow it should be fine. First uninstall the backupsuite. After that install it via the menu.

We had an idea to keep the old one... with a warning.... but that didn't work.... 
(unless we changed the name of the plugin,which is also unwanted).

You can safely update to the lastest version 1.0+git12=7.8, but first remove the old one, restart enigma than update.

If you update enigma there remains only one in the feed, the 1.0+git12 version installing this one will go smoothly
