there is a small error in the latest german translation by daddelfalk:
msgid "show softwaremanager in setup menu"
msgstr "Zeige Softwaremanager unter Erweiterungen"
should be
msgstr "Zeige Softwaremanager unter Einstellungen"

attached is the corrected de.po

Edit: below the new file

A new pot release has been done to incorporate the content descriptor strings and the changes from 'dreambox' to 'receiver'.

I hope the translators are not to angry :)

(so @Steffen your single change is not in yet...)

@mirakels: I dont think, that it was happy step, easy replace Dreambox with receiver:

example:
"Dreambox to standby. Do that now?"
"receiver to standby. Do that now?"

And one note: may be, in first step was better replace Dreambox with receiver in all .po (+ little correction with R/r ) and do not generate new .po => all strings would be OK. Now are most of old strings lost... :(

well, I am just moderately angry ;)
(in fact it was just a little copy/paste from my previous translations in which 'dreambox' was long forgotten...)
---
one question btw:
do we really still need in our po's all this stuff from:
1. crashlog autosubmit
2.automatic cleanup wizzard
3. nfi usb flasher ?
I do not know if anybody uses them (or if they even work on OpenPLi...)

msgid ""
"Your Dreambox is now ready to use.\n"
"\n"
"Your internet connection is working now.\n"
"\n"
msgid "dreambox advanced remote control (native)"
msgid "dreambox front panel"
msgid "dreambox ir keyboard"
msgid "dreambox ir mouse"
msgid "dreambox remote control (native)"

done so far...
I only renamed dreambox to receiver in the plain enigma code. Not the external plugin repositories. So that is why networkbrowser still has the references.

Re: Italian Translation

Hi,

One of our users pointed out that it.po (raw) has these errors with "yes" :-

msgid "yes"
msgstr "Sì"

#
msgid "yes (keep feeds)"
msgstr "Sì (mantenere feed)"

These show up with some skins (like SimpleHD) - other skins ok (strange !).

Can someone please correct these errors.

Thanks, pcd.

The translations should have UTF-8 encoding.

If one skin works, and another doesn't, this must be a skin problem.

Yes, I tried to find the problem in the skin SimpleHD - but its Messagebox etc are exactly same as the others (example Lava).

Why is the "yes" translation different in it.po and it.po - raw ? What is the significance of the raw version ?

Regards, pcd.

perhaps the xml encoding (skin.xml) is different?

What do you mean with the 'raw version'?
There is only one it.po, isn't there?

You could try inserting
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?>
on line 1 from skin.xml and try the translation again?

Yes - that is why I am confused !

Here I see "yes" translated as "si" :-

http://openpli.git.s...16ea78c;hb=HEAD

But here translated as "Sì" :-

http://openpli.git.s...o/it.po;hb=HEAD

When opened with the same browser IE.

you have to set in your browser page encoding to utf-8 (don't know how it's in IE, but in ff: View.> Character encoding), and should be displayed fine then...
