@littlesat
concerning your latest improvements of the english strings i have small comments:

<item level="2" text="Preferred tuner" description="Choose with tuner will be used first. If set to 'auto' the system will give priority ...
should be
<item level="2" text="Preferred tuner" description="Choose which tuner will be used first. If set to 'auto' the system will give priority ....

config.crash.details

config.crash.details

LOL, literally the same flaws as in ViX.

That isn't strange.... I did not retype everything, because I could shamelessly merge them. Why shouldn't I?

....... uuuuh....

now I see - I automatically merge all ViX-es typo's.... :D

@littlesat
few remarks regarding subtitle config menu -
all these settings:

config.subtitles.subtitle_position

config.subtitles.subtitle_alignment

config.subtitles.subtitle_borderwidth

config.subtitles.subtitle_fontsize

apply not only to Teletext subtitles but to external .srt subtitles as well, so the descriptions are a little misleading...

and as of this entry:

config.subtitles.pango_subtitles_yellow

I would vote for replacing 'pango' (what says nothing for most users) with something like 'external subtitles' or 'srt subtitles' or 'external (srt) subtitles' or whatsoever...
thanks

But than you can also use all the translations that are already available in ViX. Would be a pity to have to do that all over.

If the Brazilian community translate. Openpli 3.0 mo of the 7020hd and provide for you, you can put in the next versions with the flag of Brazil to the side as the other countries already have?

We have Portuguese of Portugal and African countries, as well as Brazilian Portuguese, which is a derivation of Portugal, all our people understand the language differs but very many things in Portuguese of Portugal did not make sense to us!

Portuguese Portugual = pt
Portuguese of Brazil = pt-br

I'll do the translation with the Brazilian community and I will contact you, at least 7020hd 3.0 pli be served with Brazilian Portuguese!

Hello,

An question about translating. In ViX image they use (quoted form their forum):
"However: there's one thing you should never translate. The word 'STB_BOX' must be left as it is; when an image is build, it will be replaced by the name of the box the build is for."
So there is no more "dreambox" in other vendors (like Vu+) language files. Is this possible also to be changed in OpenPLI?

Brazilian translation

it's not same as portugues

translated by Frank Viana

after adding this translation you should update it with latest strings for future translations ;)

Oww I'd do the translation but apparently someone already did! Why not in the pli 3.0 dm7020hd in pt-br?

Why the translation as well as the emblem of the Brazilian flag were not placed in the repository of pli 3.0? The colleague Frank Viana was translated and posted in June but have not seen inside the language options.

We, the people of Brazil would be very grateful with this integration!

Due to, at this moment, unknown reasons, the present build isn't working fine.

Excuse my ignorance on the subject, but today that was posted in 3.0 entered beta status for its stability, what are the reasons unknown? Besides the translation of Brazil as the emblem of the national flag was not ready in version 2.1 as well, which may occurring?

Our builds are done every night by our automated buildserver, it seems an update from yesterday broke the stability last night

on the Glassfibre 1GB DVB-C...

I can see, that setup entries/descriptions are under revision now:
http://openpli.git.s...a3ddfbb73e81ecd
so 'pango' has gone away, but (misleading?) 'teletext' in descriptions of text font size, text alignment, text position and text border width entries all remained...
on purpose? or maybe they could be changed during the further review?
//and I know, I can adjust it in translation, but still...
thanks

yes, but looking at your suggestions now, 'external' might be better than 'media'.

I overlooked those. I'll correct them.
