The friend FrankVianna did the translation into Portuguese of Brazil complete and posted here, I will provide the file again!

I checked the git history, and it turns out I used an empty file for BR_pt.po
I'll use the one you mention here, and merge in the new messages.
Note: you'll have to fix up to 50% of the translations, after the merge.

just had a look at that file, and it's an mo file. So I cannot use it.
I need a po file instead.

Indeed, it means larger (or wider) than 16:9. Like for instance 2.35:1 or 1.85:1
I'll keep this message as it is for now, as I don't know a nice (and short) alternative way to describe it.

I fixed the remaining typo's and case errors, thanks for reporting them.

'>16:9': That's okay. I just wasn't sure if I get the translation right. But I rechecked it and it (the german version) seems to be correct (maybe also too long, will check it on the receiver).

Thanks YOU for all changes, I checked the newest de.po on git and it seems to reflect ALL my changes and BTW there are no more fuzzy entries or missing strings for that one.

Hope we will get some updates for other languages too. I may be able to translate the Italian one too but I contacted linsat for that one (he may be faster and better suited to help us for it.po).

Pieterg, can you explain to me why OpenPLi uses these three strings: "Shutdown" or even "shut down" and "Deep standby" which seems too have same meaning (at least for laypeople)? Shouldnt we just use one standardized string over the whole image?

I can explain that
It's probably because different developers have contributed, and all had their personal favourite.
I have a slight preference for 'shutdown' as a matter of fact.

BTW there's more, many (context-)menu items aren't yet consistently using upper/lower case.
But I decided not to wait anymore, and make the big merge last Saturday, with what we had so far.

I don't know if the file used in openpli is the same from the file above ( I translated the 2 ".po" files (enigma2 from openpli and the site above).

pieterg, please look this file and tell us about words missing.

the file from that link is definitely not the same. You should use the one from the openpli enigma2 repository
