it works. It's not ideal because you have to restart enigma every time you enable or disable DTS. So it's not really fool-proof.
But, at least we have a way to downmix DTS.

OK, I am confused.

Does the DM800 have the capability to play DTS audio tracks from a MKV file with a plugin installed?

If yes, could someone expalin the steps to have it work on a DM800?

DM800 hardware does not support DTS

Why do you want to switch it on/off.... when you do not have an official way to play DTS you always want downmix to be programmed ON???

because, if you switch DTS to on (which is actually downmix), then ac3 sound doesn't work....

very simple, download the IPK file mentioned before, put it with ftp in the /tmp folder and then manually install the plugin under the software menu.

I have a DM500HD SIM210 with OpenPLI patched for SIM210 i have tried install with DCCE2 and manually from /tmp i never see any choice to
change between DTS or AC3, what am i doing wrong?

SIM210 is the first thing you're doing wrong... It is a clone so......
