try install hdmi test plugin and use 0x36, what happens. Try send it to TV (0x00) and then to Broadcast (0x0f).

Strange. Your tv for 0x36 (Standby) returns (sending to HDMI) Vendor ID (0x87) - ( if it is TV, but when it returns for both 0x00 and 0x0f same code, it seems, it is TV). Try update firmware for your TV.
When you send 0x36 to TV, then TV must go to Standby and then send 0x36 to HDMI for others devices.

Try get version of HDMI-CEC and how work all about power state with plugin.
It is strange, that this basic command would not be supported. Some options there on TV settings ?
May be, some next device is conected ? F.eg. my Emtec N200 pluged in HDMI canceled whole HDMI-CEC.

Hi,

I tried to use HDMI-CEC function on DM800se with OpenPli2.1-20121004, but it does not work at all. I checked systemplugin-hdmicec is installed on the box, but there are no related settings in the System menu or plugins list. Are there any way to install the HDMI-CEC plugin or how can i activate it?

Thanks,
Frank

Dear all,

Using hdmi-cec with dm800se on LG (37LH3000) i get nothing (no device found) when i press the SimpLink button on LG. Although when i shutdown TV, receiver is going on stand by. Is anybody there, managed to work with SimpLink (aka hdmi-cec)? With what settings?

Also if you press Menu on dm800se and shutdown the TV receiver is not going in standby mode. Then if you turn on the TV and press exit the receiver is going in standby mode!

PS. I am using image OpenPLi-3.0-beta-dm800se-20130513

PPS. The only config changed on hdmi-cec is config.hdmicec.tv_wakeup_detection=activity

Thanks.

Do not use this version with timesleep more. I rebuilded it with queue for instructions and it is several days merged to Pli. Try set "Minimum send delay" in HDMI-CEC plugins setting to 100ms.

Is it possible that the queue doesn't processed when we are pressing the button Menu?

Any Updates for this HMDICec file? It do not work with the newest OpenPli Version (Greenscreen).
