Practise learns that old versions of softcams are usually only required for external card sharing, which we disapprove of. So I think you can guess the answer ;)

so if i want to install gbox is only for external CS ? its an easy shortcut !! , version 2.1.3 or 2.1.4 of CCcam only for safety reason , because of all these rumors about fake versions , that's all.

thank you.

And how do you know that these old versions are not fake?

You can rely on the fact that we offer a version of a softcam, that we believe it's safe to use, not fake and not trojan etc.

Anyway, if you want to use any non-standard softcam, you can always install it yourself.

Hi to all,
older cccam versions read old card/s like g@ma.
I have install v2.0.9, but doesn't recognize the card on any slot, with the right cfg.
Dm800 do, on internal slot!!!

Edit:
my receiver is ET9500

Maybe you'll have to turn the card upside down in your ET9500?

I thought you were joking!!!

Today I had install a new hdd, and I saw also the card readers. Indeed the chip/shim must faced upward!
Also sci0 is the upper slot and sci1 is in the bottom!

mmmmmmmMeEEEn, many thanks... :D

Hi

Picture but not PIP.

I have tried Oscam on OpenPli 3.0 on a DM8000 but no luck

I did removed all other cams and tried to follow all your ideas -Still no luck

I got fairly far with ipadr:16200 but no Entitlements

I have also tried cccam

I think it's a problem with some of the uninstall scripts I.E. scam

I'm not used to Linux but I work with computers (IT dep.)

Thank you for replies in advance :)

If oscam says: no entitlements (and what does cccam say?) then either:

- the card is not recognised (but oscam runs otherwise okay)

- there is no card

II'm sure the card is there -I can see channels that is coded by the card.

I have also seen it in the softcam setup.

The pip works but only with the same channel

somewhere on the internet(hmpf..) I found that I should use Oscam only and that is what I tried.

Just guide me in this mess, what softcam should I use and how

Thanks

Maybe your provider limited your card to be able to decode only one channel at a time, similar to M7 cards that are restricted to 4 channels nowadays.
