Hi,

I see that there is an OpenAirPlay plugin in e2openplugin but i do not see in the the plugin list on the stb (ET6000) ?

I am not speaking about AirPlay plugin but OpenAirPlay plugin which is in the e2openplugin.

Is that plugin voilating licenses too ?

No, i am not able to find it in the plugin list from the stb (in extensions).

It is indeed not there....? I do not know the reason...?

the reason probably is that it is not (yet) included in the e2openplugins meta bb file.
(which almost certainly means the author does not yet consider it stable enough for general use)

Over a year later it's still not in place. I've been trying to find a method to install it anyway but I can't get a grip of that github stuff. Sorry for the hijack but if there is a simple way that might help us try openairplay.

Correct Meega, it's been confusing littlesat through out this thread so I'll add the references...

 

The commercial product littlesat refer to is called "Airplayer": http://www.airplayer.biz/

same here, made the mistake to try the Airplayer, then found out its 'not open source, so now i'd like to try the OpenAirplay instead.

 

Running OpenPli4 on VU+ UNO,

 

I have installed the 5 files from github in \usr\lib\enigma2\python\Plugins\Extensions (Which are last updated a year ago..)

For testing set all attribs to 777

 

when going to menu --> plugins, i get the following error:

 

not available: Extensions/OpenAirplay (No module named M2Crypto)

 

Where kan i get M2Crypto? Preferrably an IPK.

 

Can I expect some more errors after addressing the M2Crypto issue?

I would really like to see this plugin working . Or another plugin which allows me to immediately show youtube videos or photos from my phone - it is really great functionality .

HI guys,

 just tought id make a quick replay i have tried this plugin with many images and it only seams to work flawlessly with blackhole images it is available for download via addons, plugins,openairplay. 

PS if you want to use it on your android device u must install allconnect from the playstore. (airbuddy also works but works but wont work with showbox,moviehd,cartoonhd)
