Watching TV (and ts playback) should always work, regardless of whatever the gstreamer installation might be.

Is there any way to revert back to gstreamer version prior to november the 16th, without having to reflash the whole thing?

The gstreamer version has not changed, so there is nothing to downgrade.
(what has changed is glib-2.0)

you'd have to manuall install the older ipk (try with -force-downgrade, or first remove with -force-depends, and then install the old ipk, possibly after removing the internet connection, because opkg should not see there's a more recent version online)

Can you please give me a link to the older ipk? Or at least an exact version number, so I could search for it.
