I

Hello. This is my first post and I want to thank all the people which with their knowledge made me possible to enable my DM800se for this channels.
And yes, with my Dreambox DM800se the subtitles is recorded and can be played later, but in the same device, if I try to play in other device I can't, I suppose is dued to DRM or other copyright protection system.
In other receiver, Quark Combo, I can't see the subtitles, I don't know how to put the Subtitles Pids, or maybe it is not possible.

Thanks for the reply. Do you think it is possible to extract them from the recorder TS file with a tool such "Clumpco's Teletext Subtitle Extractor"? Thank you

I don't know. The mayor problem I find is the copyright protection, that prevent the possibility of play in other device, neither I can see these channels remotely with other PC in home network.
But, I suppose that if you convert the .ts file to other without copyright rights protection, maybe is possible to see or separate the subtitles file, o stream, or whatever.

My HD51 records subtitles and, I believe, VLC can play them too.

My HD51 records subtitles and, I believe, VLC can play them too.

So you are saying that you don't use a satellite receiver for directly recording?

Thank you

No, what he says is that when you record a broadcast, Enigma records the complete transport stream, including all PID's.

If you would play that recording back on your PC using VLC, you can select all subtitle and audio PID's present in the recording. So any issue with playback on another device is due to that device, not due to the recording.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

I thought that HD51 was some sort of external recorder via HDMI

Thank you for the reply but unfortunatelly it remains all very obscure to my comprehehnsion. I still didn't manage to understand if there is a enigma2 box that records all streams (even the subtitles) in these channels or there isn't

What is it that you do not understand?

I said HD51 is an enigma2 box that records subtitles on 27.5W and there are plenty more such boxes. I believe most of them do, at least with OpenPLi or SatdreamGr images. I don't know about other images.

Thanks for your reply. My bad. I got confused betwewn the box you were talking about and another device, called Livestream Studio HD51 which is not a sat receiver.

That is the reason I didn't understand your answer in the first place.

Cheers

Robinson, I have another question.

What do you mean when you say that I do have to give up doublets script. I remember that there were 4 files to put in usr/bin folder, bbc_pmt_starter.sh, bbc_pmt_v6.py, enigma2_pre_start.sh and dvbsnoop.

Are you saying that these are no longer needed?

What do you mean when you say that I do have to give up doublets script.

The functionality of the scripts meanwhile is part of enigma2 at least in Openpli and Satdream Images.

BBC One Scotland is working, but there's another new channel with this name BBC Scotland (SD and HD).

But I think SD version is not working too like HD version.

Hi,
I am with something completly different
1)Dreambox 800se
2)OpenPli 4.o
3) short mode for BBC
4)After installing new Oscam_Emu (with hash mode 28) AFN is OK but on BBC 27.5 channels total freezing (only switch on/off rear button reset can help)
Keys for BBC in usr/keys/SoftCam.Key in one line 2600:000000:.......... format
Whats is wrong?
Regards
Thanks in advance.

I will run a channel search and see if DM800se is able to find these channels.
I will be happy to provide a log but I would need some guidance as to how to do that.
