Script checks first whether PMT is broadcast unscrambled by chance. That's why there is timeout.
In long mode, you have to see audio and video PIDs at the end of CAPMT dump. If there are no PIDs, most probably they are missing in lamedb.
Another issue could be with *CAM. Best is to use oscam_ymod (has good debug possibiity). Mgcamd may work too.
I think most probably it will work with any Enigma 2. It just needs working web interface, python and dvbsnoop.

Finally managed to clear BBC One using long mode with mgcamd on my solo2. Must re-check all the other pid's since it's all I'm getting at the moment.
Also, is it necessary to keep connected via telnet all the time ?? If I close dcc, I lose the picture.
Cheers
You can use other scripts included in zipfile to have automatic startup with Enigma 2 start.
See http://openpli.org/f...ndpost&p=378611
Or you can just add "&" at the end of command line like:
bbc_pmt_v3.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0 &
Script then keeps running in background and you can exit telnet session.

Sorry but I really would like to make this work on my solo2. The main problem I've got now is that every time I edit my lamedb file (located in the etc/enigma2 folder) the changes I make vanish as soon as I restart E2. Any way I could save them permanently even if I load a new channel list ???
Thanks

Yours looks OK. Now you need proper softcam with the right entries.

hello guys,
it really is a hard work, edited the lamedb with all the correct data, ymod running but still get a connection timeout back when I telnet bbc_pmt_v3.py -t long -d /dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0
error (145): read (pid0x0064): connection timed out ...
i still dont know what ive done wrong here, could it be that is a problem with the vu+ duo2 or with the vti image?
if anyone has a tip for me to clear those channels it would be fantastic....

Thanks. Managed to clear BBC One, Channel 4 HD and BBC Three HD after a few changes on my lamedb and with mgcamd. No sound on the HD channels though. Still not happy but it's a start.
Can somebody help me ? I can't clear BBC Three HD and CBBC HD..here are the values from lamedb and parameters in Dreamboxedit. Can somebody post the right values ?
