The problem with recording in standby / timer recording is that there is no way how to get from E2 (via web interface) information about fact that particular service is being recorded. There is currently only information about service being watched. Script gets SID/PIDs this way and sends them to CAM.
Any hint is welcome.
Seems that if recording is in progress then this could be found out through the timer state in http://localhost/web/timerlist
<e2state>2</e2state> - Recording
Other states:
<e2state>0</e2state> - Waiting
<e2state>3</e2state> - Finished
Hope this helps, but there might be additional obstacles to overcome.

What could be the problem?
Keys are ok ( was ok yesterday when i got all sd working with BH image...)
I managet to edit lamedb with notepad2, init 4, edit and then init 3
But there is many "version" on how the lamedb should look like... I followed Meier2k:
4440:0cfdace7:1000:0001:25:0
BBC Two HD
p:BBC,c:0017d5,c:0317d5,c:050001,c:1217d6,f:5
I'm running mgcamd.
Is oscamymod better? If so, please sent me correct oscam files please. And advice the installation please.
I've also put the 3 files v4 and gave all there files attributes 755.
Well no i'm lost. If someone could help out here please.
And the box is still vu ultimo and image newest openpli 4.0

Since Friday the reception of 2E/2F on 28,2 East has dropped outside the UK spotbeam to new lows. I would like to take the opportunity to thank folks here for the good job to make this possible.
Especially Robinson for his insistance in the beginning to get this rolling and Doublet for the Scripting. But of cause to all others fr the assistance. Keep the good work up. For the time being it just works great.

Been reading and following the whole post for the last week and still have problems but that may be because of the image I have. I'm located in the Azores, have lost 28.2E so am looking to 27.5W now.
I use a Gigablue Quad running latest VIX Zeus with oscam-ymod 18.51 so some of the folders differ from PLi.
So far I have all channels at 27.5W scanned in and all ID's except PMT. I believe I have the latest keys,
However, still no sound or picture and can't zap to with openwebif.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I also would like to reiterate the above posts and say thanks to so many of you for your perseverance and the help you give to others.
Gigablue Quad using 4 tuners, OpenPLi 7, Prodelin 2.4mtr dish with Invacom C120 Quad LNB on 27.5W, 1mt std dish on 30W.
VU+ Duo 4K, Openvix 5.2
Octagon SF8, Openvix 5.1 - neat piece of kit for the price!

Thanks to all in this forum for an outstanding job! After a week of reading and re-reading I cleared all obstacles and got the script running in short mode on DM800se SR4, Open PLi 4.0, os**m_ymod which is doing a dual job for both 27.5W local and 28.2E remote here in Finland. Great work by all here !!!

It seems that there is another problem, at least with BBC Four.
I tried to record three or four times just to check if everything is ok (apart from subtitles of course).
I noticed that the recording often freezes for a fraction of a second, then pixelates and finally continues to play. This happens once or twice every two minutes and it's really annoying.
Did someone else noticed this problem? Any suggestions for a workaround?
Thanks

Azores... nice place. I would like to go there for holidays :-)
Try to run the script manually (in long mode, with different demux numbers) and post the output. You should see CAPMT dump there.

Have recorded about 3 minutes of BBC Four, but didn't observe any problem in the recorded file.

can someone who owns an ET9000 confirm that BBC3 / BBC4 runs or not as the ET9000 makes trouble with big symbolrate.
All other tv services are ok.
Thanks in advance

thank you guys, that is very interesting! Yesterday it was confirmed that BBC3 / BBC4 appear on DR. HD D15.
Just now I checked and the BBC children channels were ok!
May be it is the way the several receivers deal with the IDs?
Please have a look to this problem too. I do not hope that this will be the next challenge.
